I listened to Talk Sport for the first time in a long time and what a load of RUBBISH. After 2 hours of listening to them spout on about Wet Spam, Arshole, Cock Spurs, The Chelsea Girls with a sprinkling of Liver (were all comedians) pool. I lost the will to live. The only programme that is worse is Spoony on Five Live, he is worse because I pay for that rubbish out of my licence money. Don't these mrons know that there are other teams outside the M25 and has'nt the BBC got any presenters from other regions of the Country apart from Steve Claridge with his girlie voice. Back to local radio for me or can anyone recommend a good station to listen to?. |

To be fair, Talksport can be alright when Stan Collymore is on talking about us believe it or not. He actually mentions the likes of us, Vile and Wolves... obviously bias towards Villa, but he does mention how we've done well this year...probably just to brown nose McLeish after slagging him off earlier in the season though. |

I actually love talk sport. Often talking about us and usually give us credit. Also with Ian Danter often works on the breakfast show and turns it into BCFC radio, and as said earlier Collymore also gives us a fair share of credit. |

The one person I can't stand on TalkSport is that cricketer who sounds like Jimmy Clitheroe. Knows nowt about football. Best pundit is definitely Stan Collymore. |

You on about Ronnie Arani? As for Collymore, I find him a total enigma. 50% of the stuff he comes out with I agree whilst the other 50% I think is total s___ And the same applies to him as a person. He comes across as a bloke who you could chat to in the pub, on the level with ya, but on the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if he got arrogant after a few. Maybe he has grown up, who knows. Yeah, as for TalkSport it can be TalkCockney quite a lot, thank god for Dants. But in fairness, when you've got an FA Cup quarters goin on, and now the all-hyped up frenzy going on for 4th place, then I think a fixture like Blackburn v Brum is always goin to take a backseat. |

Its Darren Gough, and yes he knows **** all about football! I listen to talksport quite a lot and tbf they are quite biased to southern teams but we are not totally excluded. I would have to say they are 10x better than MOTD for coverage of 'other' teams |

I listened to it for the first time in a long time yesterday and happened to tune in to Ian Danter so my view is a bit rose tinted. I always used to drift to it by accident in one of it's former lives and always seemed to listen to James Whale or Tommy Boyd. I remember the Boyd show quite well - It was something like "Dolphins are not friendly animals" surprisingly it really did cause a stir and I think if it had been on later it might have turned into a radio riot, if such a thing is ever possible. |

Jury's out on Colleymore, somtimes he does come across OK and others a total hand jobber. Despite being an ex viler, I think Andy Townsend talks a lot of sense. He's never been sarcastic about us unlike that to**ing midget Ray Houghton. Love H & J's show. |

Ah, you mentioned Quinn. There are two or three presenters to stay clear of and Quinn is one of them. On the whole TalkSport is good and fair. As for Blues we do get some favouurable coverage. H&J in the afternoons were talking about us yesterday, Brazil has got Roy Aitken on his show this morning. It certainly helps having Blues fan Ian Danter working for the station. He is well-liked and respected by all the others on the satation and in return thew station gives Blues airtime and favourable pieces. I have heard Colin Tattum on the station as well. PS Rectory, Quinn is only on this week covering for another presenter on hols. |

Stan's the man! I was ready to hate Collymore with a passion the first time I listened to his show. In fairness though, although his accent makes him sound like a typical 'Yam Yam', he's a very bright and articulate bloke who argues his points passionately. As a presenter, I like him a lot. As a person, well, at least he has the decency to admit openly his past mistakes, which I sort of admire. |
