I've never really thought much of him anyway. But D D's goal celebrations last night proved what a total a hole he is.

When you score against a club that was as good as blues were to him then I think a bit more restraint would have been the order of the day. The guy showed zero respect imo for a club that has contributed vast amount's of cash into his bank, for very little in return.

Nice one DD, good riddance you overweight pudding.

his first was muted. I think you have to give him the benifit of the doubt after grabbing the second

I wont, because I've had the displeasure of meeting him once. I know he's a total ***************************** so I'll cut him no slack whatsoever

Also I noticed last night on Sky that Ferguson called him a 'fat' something or other following a tackle he made, Dunn was lying on the floor, made me chuckle **thumbup

I had this argument a few years back when people said they would clap him etc on his return... he showed us no respect or loylty... so I show him none... I don't expect any thing else from him!!

He was a fat, useless, injury prone fool. Never, ever valued the £4 Million or so we spent on him.

Cannot believe I'm reading all this :silence:

OK, Dunny had a swipe at Brady and co when he left but what about Kenny Cunningham, Savage , Upson and a few others ?? and Emile Heskey and Jermaine Pennant couldn't wait to get out the exit door in 2006.....it resembled a stampede

Fat, useless, injury prone fool ???

My Lord !

Yes, injury prone that's true but he was a great player for Blues when he played .....have you forgotten his goal v The Vile already and Stern John would have never have scored that memorable qualiser in the 2-2 draw at VP if Dunny had not come on and turned the match up on it's head with his brief performance as a sub

Short memories, some of you have

Disgraceful.....As pooley rightly said, he did show Blues respect and didn't overdo the celebration on the 1st goal but when you're not renowned for headers and he's gone and beat everyone to the ball to nod home his club's winning goal then who could blame him ?......All he did was hug a couple of fans in the home end

And I've no idead why Hadji Diouf and Salgado were berating him for at the HT whistle.....If I was Allardyce I'd fine the pair of those muppets, what do they contribute to Blackburn exactly ?? Not a lot......they were bang out of order......Dunn was the Man of the Match and as per usual, we cannot find the net enough ourselves or turn territorial advanatage and possession into real goals at the other end ......Get over it

having been on holiday in alcudia where my pal lives and runs a bar and having David Dunn come into said bar and have a few beers with us i have to disagree

He told us he did not want to leave the blues at all but was forced too, then he started singing S--T on the villa and dancing about while dropping out some sort of headstand spin ?

granted he was a wee bit intoxicated

Blackburn is his club at the end of the day

I always liked David Dunn :ph43r: he was my favourite player when he had a playing spell with us and I was gutted at how much he was injured. When he played he was top class (don't anyone post the gif of his trick against the vile).
I remember some bluenoses giving him some abuse when we played Blackburn a few years ago and he did stop and explain himself as if it bothered him.

Even the commentaters said that D. D showed a bit of respect by not celabrating the first goal. I've seen it & must agree with them.
I also agree with Partisan, a lot of short memories.

Whats all the fuss about nothing.

If Dunn's celebrations annoyed you really must be running out of things to moan about.

The man's been struggling with injury lately just scored two good goals, cut him some slack.

It was a tragedy that injury forced him on the sidelines when he was at Blues, as I think he could have been one of our best creative midfielders for generations (puttin aside the a___over_t_t fallover against the Vile)

Probably was a 'gamble' signing by Bruce, where if he had kept the injuries at bay, then IMO could have been a legend. But as with The Fors, if they had both been regular injury-free players, then they would have got snapped up by other clubs.

Got no problem with him celebrating a winner, seeing as he supports the club (unlike a lot of others up that neck of the woods, at least he supports his local team and not the likes of Manure, Liverpool etc). Because he celebrated doesn't necessarily mean he's got no respect for us.

Ive always enjoyed watching him play. He certainly has talent and the blues side looked totally different the hanful of games that he played for us.

Im not too fedup with him wanting to go back to Blackburn he obviously loves it up there and the only reason he left was he didnt get on with Souness.

I dont think he has ever given Birmingham any thanks for what the club did for him. It put his career back on track and never really got much return on the investment. After getting himself sorted at BCFC he has gone back to Blackburn is enjoying one of the best spells of his career.

I would like to wish him well but it's hard when he is such an ungrateful ****.

Granted I wasn't there but from the coverage I saw, when Mcfadden scored it sounded like the Blues fans were singing "Fatty Fatty what's the score" could have misheard, but if the Blues fans were showing him disrespect, you can hardly blame him for celebrating the winner.

He was easily the mom and if it wasn't for him Blues may have got something out of the game last night, it was great to see him doing his look one way and pass the other way last night, and his flick from his right foot to left foot and followed by a reverse pass bought back memories of what he used to do for us.

He is and was a brilliant player when fit and often his tricks and passes were just to clever for most of the Blues players in our team when he was with us, it seemed only Dugarry could read what he was trying to do most of the time.

Get over it?? Get over yourself parti.

I dont need one of your sermons just because you dont agree with what ive said. As for short memories, wtf has that got to do with anything?

The fact is he spent way too much of his time here on the treatment table and was paid handsomely for it. Our club puts him right and he thanks us by doing one back to blackburn.

If you happy with that mate then thats up to you.

I thought it was disrespectful considering how much our fans stuck behind him when he was injured, but that's life. I can't say i'm overly bothered.
