It would be great to have all the Midlands clubs in the premier League, and I include Forest, Leicester, Derby and Coventry in that. Just as long as we finish top dog amongst them. **thumbup

It's about time the Midlands broke the London/North domination.

As others have said, too many local derbies result in too many draws.

Which can be dangerous.

Many of us can remember when Stoke, Leicester, Coventry, Albion, Wolves and villa were also all in the top division at the same time.

Banker draws on the pools when we played each other. And we all scrabbled around with draws and the other 18 teams just pulled away.

10 points from a possible 30 doesn't help over a season.

London and North West clubs capitalise on having only 3 other local clubs that could be termed local derbies.

North East have 2 or 3.

If we eventually have 6 it isn't going to help any of us.

Local derbies are grim, dour and draining.

To be honest I wouldn't consider Stoke Leicester Coventry Derby or Forest as derbys,
and out of the 3 derbys we've had so far this season none have been draws.

yep the stats show to many local derbys is a bad thing for league points....to many is not good...
