Best midfield partnership I have ever seen for the Blues. Today outnumbered 3v2 against quality midfielders they worked their socks off, but also had great composure and played unbelievable football. If we can add a few younger midfielders in the summer then just let them train with these guys...they will learn it all!

Ps Mcfadden was awesome today!

Not that I'm biasd or anything but I have to agree with this post! Thought Fergie & Bowyer were excellent today. Gr8 2 see our Baz playing well in the Premiership & bossing & moaning just like old times! Great game today! :D

Gardner and Michel as their replacements surely...?!... Just need some tweaking in other positions in the summer!

Great performance from everyone, but Bowyer and Ferguson imposed themselves early on, and bossed th emidfield from then.

They tired towards the end and continued to get deeper and deeper as Arsenal came more onto us, but once Arsenal scored, they both seemed to get their second wind and push on again.

I would echo that statement about Gardener being tried in CM over the pre season, hes done well out wide in the last few games but personally i dont think Larsson should be a bench warmer all the time

Michel is deffinatly going to be the replacement for Bazza in the future, will be good to see how he develops once he gets used to English football

Baz incredible today, Bowyer great but MOTM should have been Mcfadden, without a doubt. Worked so,so hard today and was the last player on the pitch celebrating.

On a side note did anyone see how much it meant to the Blues players with the goal celebrations? Gardner and Carr were going ballistic.

Bowyer went mad aswell

And after the final whistle when Hart was applauding the crowd, he popped up on the big screen, and you saw him put his hand over his heart and blow...as if we was basically saying "bloody hell, that was close"

The team spirit we have here is fantastic!
