I'm guessing we wont be on last for a change and that's simply due to our opposition.

What do we think then? 5 minutes analysis of Arsenals passing game, Nasri's goal, their disallowed goal and a quick mention of Kevin Philips before they move on to the next match?

Match of the day will tell us what fixtures Arsenal have left to get the points required to win the league and how beating Barcelona is more important then todays game

Central news or should I say Villa the only team to follow news will be in black armbands on Monday

Pretty fair assessment I think! They did talk about arsenal more, but not that much more! And Shearer made a point of bringing the conversation back to Blues to praise eck...

maybe we're going to get a fairer run on motd now?

That was finally some sort of praise for us!

First Hansen showed our battling qualities and praised us for it and being resilient and hard to break down...then they showed Fabregas and Almunia's bad points...before a nice few comments on us, and on Phillips.

Finally something decent, and also today is the first time they've mentioned our unbeaten home record this season too

Hansen and Shearer made some good comments but Lineker is an idiot again..

Shearer - "From a Birmingham point of view how well are they doing..." Mentions Alex McLeish and how he'll follow up next season..

Lineker - I'll ignore that and make a joke about Motsons comment about Philips.

Best thing I noticed was that they only showed two replays of each of the Chelsea goals, else it would still be going on !

I normally have a real go at MotD, but credit where it is due. They could have used the whole piece to talk about Arsenal as they usually do, but we got some fair praise out of Hansen and Shearer, and Hansen s very instinctive and apparently genuine 'Birmingham were great', at the start of his comments really got to me. How life has changed. Well done the new owners, but especially Big Eck, you are my new god.

I wonder if in tonights M.O.T.D2 with Grump Chiles at the helm doing his two bad two good,if they will show Venga crouched on the side line with his head in his hands knowing the title race is over for em.
would be even better better if they showed us doing the Venga aswell.

Take note,do you hear what John Terry said about villa, how they knew that they tired after an hour and did again yesterday. Hope our management team have taken note or I shall write to them.

I thought the commentary and coverage was fantastic, possibly the best i have watched! What i wasn't happy about was that they didn't show the two arsenal yellow cards early on. They were both very rash challenges and would have dispelled this myth that Arsenal are some angelic team that picked on.

They'll be working on that from now on though so I wouldnt expect them to continue to tire at that stage of games any more.

Terry coming out and saying what he did will ensure O'Neill and his coaching staff work on fitness levels.

Not bad but did not like the way they went on about Villa being just tired and not giving them more grief for shipping 7 if it had been us lineaker would have been cracking jokes.
