Hmmm, 'Saturdays loss'???

1) "Adios Premier League, hola Champions League, Birmingham have bruised our Premier league hopes yet again but if Arsenal are to salvage any silverware from this season they'll need to get back on track and fast.

We can feel hard done by by Saturday's loss, the goal having suspicions of offside and fluke about it, Fabregas kicked out of the game, Diaby's goal inexplicably dissallowed.

But if we're honest with ourselves Arsenal have been riding heavily on their luck of late scraping victories against Hull and West Ham without ever really getting out of second gear. But on Saturday that luck just ran out, albeit with Howard Webb subtly shoeing it out the exit-doors.

Yes the goal was dreadfully unlucky, but you have to ask if Arsenal had taken the game more firmly by the horns, had played the game in fourth or fifth gear instead of second, would they have been so open to those slings and arrows of outrageous fortune?

Nor should we forget that they'd already had the warning shot across their bows when Scott Dann skied a goal-line chance that looked far harder to fluff than score.

Arsenal had been like a motorway driver short on fuel, coasting it a little, hoping to drift on their momentum to the Barcelona tie without any slip-ups, and in fairness they came within seconds of pulling it off."

2) "Arshavin is right saying that our players lack character, spirit to fight. This is also true bout him also.
Why do we always leave it late. I can't call it a football what I saw in the first half. We didn't look like a team fighting for a title, we didn't look like a team that had a whole week to prepare for this match.

Despite playing Blackburn in mid-week Blues looked sharper and fresher. They were fighting with their heart. They played as if they were fighting for the title.
If this is what Wenger calls intelligence, mental strength, fighting spirit and believe then I doubt the honesty of Arsene.

We are the only team in the league who lack self-confidence and self-esteem.
I hate to see Denilson, Bendtner and Walcott being knocked down so easily and not even trying to stand up quickly to get the ball back.
They do not deserve to wear Arsenal shirt."

We can feel hard done by by Saturday's loss, the goal having suspicions of offside and fluke about it - Not interfering and bad goalkeeping

Fabregas kicked out of the game - It was a good tackle

Diaby's goal inexplicably dissallowed - blatant shove in the back

completely agree but can anyone explain why Chucho does not understand the offside rule? He was probably 6 foot off side.. Does he think that the linesman won't notice him as he's so small?

the other mistake was "loss". They drew.

The last time we played Birmingham at that damned ground we were crucified by thuggish play and an incompetent referee - we come here again and once again we are crucified by an incompetent referee and had our captain come dangerously close to another injury because of thuggish play.

sheer arrogance...

well when he used to play for santos, they played in green, so it was virtually like camoflauge. So when wearing that he would not be seen. Maybe blues should come up with a green kit for the next few weeks!

Kev was never offside, and the ball never hit mr chucho, who was offside.

I dont know how they can say it had a hint of offside in it, i mean kev was atleast 10 metres onside!

Sore losers!

(it felt like a win!)

I don't think anyone expected them to be challenging for the league this season but they are, so they should stop moaning!

Typical comments from Arsenal supporters, arrogant and thinking teams like Blues should lay down and let them play their pretty football without touching them. I wonder who they must be listening to....would it be the king of whingers Wenger by any chance?

I still can't get my head around them seeing nothing wrong with Diaby's disallowed goal! He's virtually knocked Bowyer to the floor.

Incidentally, on the highlights, did any one see that Arsenal fan put his finger to his lips when they scored? (they had a shot of the crowd).....i'd love to have seen him at the final whistle. :D

From Arsenal Mania;

"You know what the worst thing about today was? I knew we had conceded before the stream had even shown it. My friend who only ever texts me when the opposition has scored against us, sent me a message and I immediately knew what it was about without even reading it. The subsequent seconds was like watching a family member being executed by a guillotine."

If any Arsenal fan sites are annoying you about how they are victimised and how their players are subject to horrendous treatment, just post these links on their site.
Just a quick selection of You tube Arsenal fouls. Most are far worse than anything seen against them recently.
See what their reaction is to their idle Henry making what would have potentially been the worst football injury ever (if he had not accidentally mis timed it). Ot the destruction of John Terry's cheekbone.

That is before you start with Bold, Adams, Winterburn, Vieira etc. The team was based around bullying tactics. they forget that.
