Never sat here before but need to book my tickets asap, Me and my 11 year old cousin are coming so couple of questions 1. Is it under cover? {if my memory serves me correctly no} 2. Bearing in mind he's only a little un will we be ok here or will I be exposing him to the horrors of the English Language too much?! 3. Will we have a good view? Online says there are some seats left in the Kop but on the phone they're saying these rows of the Tilton or the Gil Merrick are all that's available feed.back As soon as possible please! Thanks guys :banner: |

Not sat in the Tilt for a long time, but it used to be boisterous then and if your are bothered about 'language' I would advise you not to The Main and the Kop would be much better - completely better class of person :D |

Gil Merrick Upper might suit you better.. It has a brilliant view and very much under cover! Atmosphere isn't all that over there though.. |

I'm not bothered about a bit of swearing I could just do without any trouble! The main thing is will we have a good view? According to the ticket office there's only Gil Merrick and these seats left and I don't really wanna sit anywhere near the away fans, plus the atmosphere was really lacking {sorry people who sit in the gm}. What I'm trying to say in a roundabout way is is there likely to be any trouble? Without causing offence to Tilton Blues! |

I guess if there is Liverpool fans in there shouting their mouths off there may be some trouble. |

Agree, the only trouble would be Liverpool fans as per Saturday when an Arsenal fan celebrated thier goal, even then the stewards soon kicked him out, so nothing more than 2 minutes of Blues fans shouting abuse. The view is not obstructed but it is pretty much at pitch level. |

There seems to be quite a few STholders who for one reason or another will not be able to make the rearranged game. Why not ask if any of them can help you out with a couple of seats that they will not be using? I'm sure you will be able to fix something up. :banner: |

Even though there is a roof I would have thought you could still get wet in Row 5. With an 11 year old the best view will be from the Gil Merrick Upper, the atmosphere may not be great but you will get a better view than low down in the Tilton. |

Ha ha no, as I wouldn't have been born! I didn't think the roof covered the seats closer to the pitch ie. Rows 1-5. After further discussion with the ticket office she's now revealed that there are a couple of seats left in blk 16 Kop corner {despite saying there were none at all there as that's what I originally asked for} but they're Row 2. What would be your advice gentleman? Row 2, Block 16 Kop Corner or Block 5, Row 12 the Tilton? |

Row 2 will give you an ideal chance to shout abuse at Torres ! **thumbup But the view wont be great, we were sat at row 5 (block 16) and didn't really see much of the play 1st half Stick with Tilton block 12 IMO :Blues: Daz |

1- there won't be any trouble nothing to worry about 2- if it rains you're very likely to get wet 3- the view is fine as long as you're happy near pitch level. I prefer to be higher personally. 4- there will be alot of swearing, that's just how it is. Enjoy. |

Tilton row 5. I sat in row 4 of GM for 5 years and all I saw was 22 men running around. If I were you I would sit further back, in ANY stand. MUCH better views! |

There wont be that many Liverpool fans in the Tilton any issues I have seen in the past was the fact that Blues fans have been having a go at 2-3 Liverpool fans. There isnt actually anything violent to be honest just bad language and stuff. But it can appear very intimidating particluraly to the away fans. It's not the stuff you want to show your little one to be honest. I dont think you have mentioned whether you are a Liverpool or Birmingham fan. If your a Liverpool fan I advise not to wear any scarfs or shirts and not to draw attention to yourself. Dont celebrate if Liverpool score. You can by all means say fair play that was a good goal but I advise you to be somewhat subdued. If you jump up and shout well it might not go down to well and the fact that you have a little one with you some may not give any credit for unfortunately. The Blues regard the Tilton as their home end just as Liverpool regard the Kop as theirs. I wouldnt of given myself to long in the same conditon as I may of entered had I celebrated Jerome's screamer as it flew into the Kop end. :Blues: |
