Just a thought, does anybody else think blues should bring in a reward/loyalty points system that i know alot of other clubs have in place, where you get points for going to away games, higher points for more akward away games ... e.g portsmouth ... sunderland . It just seems to me it would make alot more sense than the way we are selling tickets for Vile . Fair enough that season ticket holders should get first refusal , but why split it into ST holders that have been to 10 away games etc , by the time Vile comes around i ( i dont have an ST ) would have been to 5 away games, probably more than alot of season ticket holders . it just doesnt seem fair to me that people who have been to alot of away games, but dont have a season ticket will have no chance of getting to the bigger games.

I agree but I know from my own experience not attending away games hasn't been because I haven't wanted to or couldn't be bothered. I think the points card system draws as many criticisms as it does plaudits.

how can you determin if the game is awkward though? Thats upto personal opinion and we have fans all over the country so some who live in, say portsmouth, would be able to go to that game yet get more points, so it is unworkable in that sense.

Doesnt make sense to me mate. The fact season ticket holders have got a season ticket makes them 'loyal' and means they are putting money into our club and so should be rewarded. When you are going to away games the money is going to the away club mostly so I dont see why you would be rewarded for it.

For the Vile away game. Lets be honest it's the biggest away game there is.
98% of supporters can get to B26 should they wish to so it's only right it goes to the season ticket holders first.

I also think it's right that they differentiate the season ticket holders to some degree and those that follow Birmingham away should come first they deserve recogniton for supporting the team away.

After this if there are any left it should go to fans like yourself who do support the team away from home.

While I fully recognise your loyalty and am sure the season ticket issue is purely financial constraints which is a pity.

I feel season ticket holders always must come first they are the life blood of the club at the end of the day.

Great idea....would be the only league game all season which it would be needed though, as unlike clubs who run similar schemes we have a poor away support in terms of numbers.

Why would they want to get to Sheldon if they need to be in Small Heath B10 or have I misinterpreted what you mean.

It is a good system, and it works well. I didn't realise pompey had one in place, mind you they rarely sell out so I don't think it matters too much there.

This system is good as it gives the loyal fans priority, however if blues games are popular away from home, first timers for away matches, or people who don't go to many away matches may miss out. We give loyalty points for failed applications aswell, so it helps build your loylty up even if you don't get a ticket, as long as you apply for the game, which only season ticket holders can do.

I think it is a good system for clubs who sell out away from home regularly.
