just come off the phone to Stevie Wonder in LA; he said he loves the new kit so i don't know what all the moaning's about - he just called to say he loves it

:LMAO:

Don't wish to be pedantic, but what happened to the socks on D. On the voting, they were blue & white, but now changed to all blue.

Just wish we'd resort back to blue shirts/white shorts/white socks so we're almost there.

m confused...people moan about the amount of white in the kit...our most famoust strip which people identiy with as blues is the penguin...which had a great ruddy white stripe in the middle!

If you work out surface area percentages the penguin is aprox 30% white whereas this would be less than 10%

That's the worst since the Kumars threw a bucket of paint over one about 20 years ago.
Absolutely dreadful.

But the penguin is symbolic, and is vertical not horizontal.
Can you see Celtic playing in green & white stripes?

It makes me laugh when you read peoples opinions about the strips on here, I think we need an 'old-timer' range down at the club shop for all the grandads on this message board, no matter what kit we have all you hear is 'ooooouu its dreadful' and 'ooouuuu the worst kit since 1878'

Get back on that stair lift, take ya teeth out and go to bed.

Well I had voted and hoped for B. But as a blues fan you always need to look for the positives. So my positive is now that this kit is so disgusting I now do not even need to consider buying it for me and my 4 nippers. Not a chance.....I have saved quite a few bob.

I would be disappointed if i was the club because now they have a kit that looks like this years so it will effect the sales because why would you by something that looks the same as this years if you already have one...

Not happy with this top.. :redcard: just because it is to similar

I voted for it and so did my daughter! The only kit I disliked with white in it was the tesco carrier bag kit!

So you lot that are slagging the kit off do not agree with using a majority decison? How on earth are you going to decide it then? Use the least popular? WTF would happen in Thursday's election if that happened? It's obvious that most people like the new kit but as usual, they don't post the fact that they like it, you only hear from the ones that don't like it. It wasn't my decison as it's too close to this seasons, but my son wants it and he will be wearing it for next season. :Blues:

Another dreadful choice imo. There's nothing wrong with a plain Blue shirt - it's the clubs nickname. I don't know anyone who liked D.

And to those who are pointing to this years kit selling out as some sort of vindication for the choice of this sort of style - it's because Gold and Sullivan only ordered 33% of the previous seasons shirts, so as to not be left with excess stock !

but my point is people are saying there is too much whte...if the white is horizontal, vertical or diagnal it is still white.

I liked C best originally and voted for C, but now actually this kit has grown on me and I'm gonna buy it (don't always). Plus I think this kit will sell well in China = more money for players!

I don't mind Kit D but it was my least favourite out of the 4. However, the white on the sleeves will make it look much worse than this seasons which hasn't - just my opinion like. Thought we looked terrible with white on the sleeves in this:

Spot on, group of villa fans I know absolutely peeing themselves that kit d won. This is why only season ticket holders / club members should be able to vote.

Horrendous choice for the boys in ROYAL BLUE!

Strange considering in the poll on here Kit D was miles off
http://bcfcforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=61416

I think you'll find this forum has always had a very vocal minority.

The programme states 10,000 people voted. The poll you show has 128 people. Bit of a difference!!!

D was by far the best kit. No doubt just like this seasons, it will sell out in record time!

(Also It's £35 not £40!)

Ye its a bit of a difference but its also pretty much all bluenoses who voted, out of that 10000, 5000 could have been villa fans voting for their least favourite of the designs just as we would have done had they had an open poll which anybody could vote in.

At the end of the day its the fairest way possible. It is by far the BEST design.

At the most maybe 100 Villa fans got on there and voted maybe. D was in no way the worst design and every one i spoke to around me in Block 11 yesterday agreed its a great design.

This season's kit got slated by the 'scared of change' brigade on this forum. But sold out on its first day of sale. That tell's you everything you need to know about the people on this forum.
VOCAL MINORITY.

The fairest way, is to only let season ticket holders vote. Should be the same for player of the year vote, only season ticket holders should vote.
As it is at most other clubs.

fyi most of the people who voted are people 'known' to the club (ie ont he mailing list/blues world/here database) therefore the fact is most of the people who voted are people who have or do participate in other online club 'things'
