I can see a few refunds being sought - how come they've changed the design?? Its not what people voted for.

I hate to disappoint anyone who did vote for kit D and doesn't think it looks anything like the 'thing' that you've got there...

Posted ImagePosted Image

But that's pretty spot on compared to the manufactured kit.

That's one of the seldom things they've done well - copying that hideous mock up!

It's exactly what people voted for. It's the same as D.

It might be the way it hangs on the clothes torso thingy, I think it will need to be seen on somebody to get a true reflection of what it looks like, but I agree, it doesn't look like the kit D we voted for, my first reaction was "eurgh". :(

EDIT:

Although the more I look at it, the less eurgh it gets, I really think they need a player to model it or something.

It may be the light and the way that it's placed on the mannequin but it looks different in colour, the v shape is thicker and less v like and they've added a logo to the sleeve cuff.

That's because if your screen is anywhere near colour calibrated, then the mock up is a shade of purple (I said at the time it was embarrassing).

I agree with your issues, but hey, I just don't see how anyone voted for D in the first place! It's was always going to be "welcome to Rugby League!"

There's really nothing to get worked up about, we could of done a lot worse.

I'm more concerned with who'll be wearing it come August.

why are you bothered what they think, it don't matter what we had they would still have taken the preverbial. I just hope next time the club don't put it to the vote because it would stop the constant moaning about the people who bothered to vote.

My only criticism of the Villa kits is that they are getting a bit same-y...

But at least it's a classic look that works for their club and is quite aesthetically pleasing to the neutral...

How long would it take, if nature was allowed to take it's course, before the Villa shirt becomes a Coventry city shirt? Each season they get a little closer.

Whats with all the 'villa fans voted' rubbish

If you dont like the kit you dont like it but a lot of blues fans did because they voted for it. At the ground everyone by me said they prefered it...mind you some on here will probably think they were undercover villa spies :ph43r:

Just because you dont like it, it doesnt mean villa fans voted for it...maybe other blues fans have better taste than others

The home shirt looks a lot better than I thought it would. The xtep logo around the right sleeve/left leg is a nice touch and I much prefer the collar to that on the away shirt. Probably too much white on it but it certainly doesn't look tacky.

I also have to say the F&C spnosor's logo is one of the best I can remember for having a design that compliments the kit, doesn't look out of place at all.

Not too happy with that, the design is ok but the work around the badge is terrible, look at it puckering up and all those joins are going to cause problems.

but I will wait to see it first hand before i decided to buy it or not.
