Would seem to be Robbie Keane judging by this (albeit from James Nursey@the Mirror) but its welcome news if true!

i find this deal really refreshing, us maybe signing a player that
has demonstrated such loyalty and commitment over the years.

And also a player clearly never swayed by finance and personal gain

hmmmmmm :LMAO:

I'd say go in with a £6m offer for Robbie Keane.

I think they'd want closer to £12m for him.

About £5m too much in my opinion.

:banner:

But clubs won't be paying £10m+ for Robbie Keane plus his wages and his age.

Keane is the same age as Zigic so I cannot see 29 being a problem, I would love to see KEANE HERE.

Also virtually unique for a footballer in this day and age!

Fair play to the guy. He hasn't messed Blues about for ages like some we could mention (ex viler for instance :banghead: ). It appears he has been reassured that he is really wanted by his club - if that had not been forthcoming, he would most likely have left. Great to see a footballer being loyal and not a money grasping g*t. I wish him all the best and as successful a season as his last **thumbup
