Was just thinking about football clubs I support and I'm probably more a blues fan than an England fan in recent times. Sometimes I think Capello could have done worse than give RJ a chance! If you had a chance to support Blues or England, which would you choose?

Birmingham

I remember being so proud watching Trevor Francis playing for England.

Nowadays, I would just be worried about one of our players getting injured, playing for England.

I'm as passionate about England doing well as I am Blues, although we take more of a journey with Blues each year than we do our country, so it's natural to have more of an affiliation to your club.

I am more proud of Birmingham because i have nothing to be proud of England for! I would rather though that England won the world cup than Birmingham won an honor, my country comes first.

Both.

However last season, Blues made me the most proud I ever have been following football for the way they came up, stuck two fingers up to all the naysayers, and went on a record unbeaten run, aswell as finishing top half.

England on the other hand, are an embarrassment right now... but hopefully they turn it round!

Birmingham is my town, it's my people, it's my club. so i'm more proud of Blues than England

i know most people are ashamed to be English just for sharing the same nationality as those clowns who played Algeria last Friday

personally i love England but i'd rather see Brum win a major trophy than England win the World Cup

I like the atmosphere in the pub for England games.

There are people who you see about, but not in the pub
There are friends who support other clubs but now you are all on the same side.
You and all your friends are united in passion for the same team.

For the togetherness, I choose England. *eng*

I'm not proud of either, both have become distant to the common football supporter now.

Just look at England full of premadona footballers so detached from ordinary fans.

And the same goes for blues , we've never achieved anything to be proud of really.

Now years ago watching , hatton, Francis , latchford, burns, page, hendrey, even players like gayle, sturridge, tait, pear, and the like I have much admiration for because they wanted to play football and be close to the fans they hurt like we did when we lost not like today's fannys.

Once being a footballer was a vocation now it's just a job.

Blues > England.

I don't own any England merchandise, although I will get nervous before games and swear at the TV and all that.

More so England these days as I can only really make a few mid week games during the season because of my saturday afternoon commitments.

I dont buy into this modern era missery being spouted by Dr. Nick. Maybe you forgot to take your happy pills this morning?

Obviously I'm Scottish so I'm really proud of the England team and their achievements thus far in the World Cup  . Pretending Scotland got into any major competitions for a minute though..it's always Gers 1st Scotland 2nd!

Bear in mind the only Brummies I encountered were either p**ed or hotel staff/taxi drivers!! Nobody at St Andrew's spoke to us remember? :fishing: (That'll be changing next time I'm there though allegedly!)

Blues all day!

I would love to see the unity and excitement if England went all the way and it bought everyone together for one big celebration, but right now, apart from Heskey, none of the players play with passion and they do absolutely nothing to be proud of.

The boys in blue on the other hand, made me the proudest man in the world last season. Albeit we didnt win anything, but they marched right into the fire of Hell so many times and fought for each other, grinding out results and finished in a respectable position that reflected their hard work.
