Blues all the way.

Birmingham City Football Club is something I have chosen, something I have thought long and hard about and made a conciencious choice about.

Supporting England is just something that I have to do, regardless of whether I like the team, purely and simply on account of having popped out of my mum on English soil.

The bit in bold interests me. You really feel as though you sat down and made a choice from all the options available to you? For me, supporting Blues came as naturally as supporting England by virtue of the environment I grew up in. Supporting Villa/Baggies was never a conscious choice where I was concerned.

All I'm saying is that I grew up in various parts of Birmingham and no-one would really have batted an eyelid if I'd chosen Villa or WBA.

But if you're from England, it's unacceptable supporting another country so you HAVE to support England.

I have travelled with both the blues and England (1st time I haven’t been to a major tournament with England for 10 years), some of the atmospheres when you are away with England are amazing but even when I have been away with England I have always phoned my brother for updates on any blues signings and what is happening with our club, and when you are away at games like Bolton last season, Millwall playoff semi there is no better place to be. So I would have to say the blues, but I am still very passionate about England doing well in any tournament they play in.
