An alleged new target of McLeish with limited first team experience with Man Utd. but great youth academy and reserves history!

The lad needs opportunities to play in the English Premier League and is one definately for the future if we can prise him from the grasp of Sir Alex Ferguson! **thumbup

To be fair, I would take pretty much any striker from Man United's books.

Even their youthful 'lack match experience' strikers would still do a job for us.

The Manchester United manager has chosen the Mexico striker and Federico Macheda as the players to rival Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Owen, once fit.

Danny Welbeck and Mame Biram Diouf will go on loan to get regular games and gain further experience

I disagree mate.

This season will all be about Berba trying to prove a point, and the new Mexican hotshot trying to fit in and become partner for Wayne Rooney.

If Macheda is going to become the next big thing, I really dont think he will manage his breakthrough next season.

I reckon if we lodged a loan offer, we would get him here, and he would probably do a huge job here.

Luckily not, nah they said earlier that Sir Alex has rubber stamped the moves for Diouf off to Blackburn and Wellbeck to Sunderland
