Has someone hacked your account or what? Never heard you say anything good about blues since I have been here, and now suddenly you are mr happy?

I have been a big critic of our living in the dark ages with regards to the matchday experience.

The new owners have done something about it and they did it at the first opportunity ie their first close season.

I am Mr Happy. For once our club have owners with both money and an "in-touchness" with us, the fans.

Again, well done Blues. **thumbup

Great a board that listens :applause:

And a manager that listens as well, when the Tilton are getting fed up with the usual boring 451 and start chanting 442 442 he makes the changes ;)

Happy days indeed **thumbup

Also..

If Peter Pannu reads these message boards the maybe Alex McCleish does as well..

Therefore a message to Big Eck. "Eck you do realise that if you started more games with a 442 formation then there would be less chance of being told how to do your job properly by the Tilton Rd, as most of us bluenoses dont like boring 451 football" ;)

Bluenosekev, I don't like the boring 4-5-1 but what has it got to do with catering, refurbished areas and televisions?

Keep up the great work Blues. **thumbup

They've listened to the fans and they've made the improvements.  :applause:

Chuffed about Sky Sports being shown throughout the concourse.

Can't wait to see 1875 refreashments.

Why did the old board subcontract it out if you can bring it in house and make more money.

they were all about making money.

oh wait a minute. They were all about making easy money..

not so long ago even the tea lady was on the fiddle so the last board sold them off to the highest bidder, now with technology fiddling is very difficult with bar code scanners

the subcontracting of the catering was a classic example of the penny wise, pound foolish Trotters.

In most circumstances it is commercial sense to sub out the catering. A company is expert at what it's business is and not buying foodstuffs, cooking and catering hygiene. Financially, outsourcing is best for a company to provide food for it's staff at lunchtime.

However at a football ground having control of the catering, it's quality, the menu and the pricing is key to getting more people in early. The better the overall catering and ambience the more people it attracts and the more money the club will make. In some cases it will be a positve addition to persuading a fan to come the game.

Remember the catering is for the club's paying customers not it's staff for lunches.

Sully & Co just saw the short term.

Entertainment park attached to the ground with sports pubs and eating venues would be brilliant.

Brings fans to the ground early and we could have it inclosed on match days for safety and opened up on none match days.

I'm delighted that they've listened to the fans. It means the bloke who sits beside me will be chained to his seat until the half time/ full time whistle; the woman behind will be gagged; and her horrible little kid will have his legs strapped to his seat to stop him kicking mine. Result! Should make for a much nicer matchday experience **thumbup

im more concerned with what I see on the pitch than what colour curtains are up in the walkways and if there is sky available and how many variations of yeast and hops are on offer.

I'd rather a few more quid was put into the transfer budget than spent on carpet and velvet cushions for the seats.

When you wonder why we havent bought that player we have been after think back to this moment.

Or think back to last year when the new pitch, and big telly came out of the transfer budget man !

The club asked for feedback and they've got it, acted on it - why?

To meet the demands of supporters.

To improve the experience of going to a match.

Saving it all for transfers will have us with waterfalls back on the kop.

if you want frilly cushions and velvet lining on your seats go to the opera.

People moan about football not being for the 'average man' anymore, yet when they do go they want it to be like the royal albert hall surrounding the pitch.
