According to Colin Tattum, Fabio Capello was at St Andrews today watching the game.
http://twitter.com/colintattum With 6 players starting today that were English, Foster, Dann, Johnson, Ridgewell, Jerome and Gardner hopefully some of them will be given a run out next wednesday from the England friendly. I hope he picks at least Dann and Johnson, they were consistant throughout the whole of last season and have deffinatly got qualities for Premier League level hopefully they will be given a chance to shine at International level next week as I feel they can make the step up. |

Surely Foster was his main focus. |

Yes but why not give Dann and Johnson a run out as well as regarding CB we have at international level. John Terry is 29 Rio Ferdinand is 31 Mathew Upson is 31 Ledley King is 29 Then for the future Joelon Lescot Michael Dawson Gary Cahil The players other than the three above will be mid 30's by the time the Europian finals arise now is the time to bring in new players a friendly next week would be great for them imo, and would be great to see them playing for England after the seasons they both had last year. To further reinforce my point after the debacle that was South Africa he is under pressure to get the next generation through the door, and with a friendly fast approching I cant see no reason why he shouldent be playing the likes of Dann, Johnson and Foster. |

I don't disagree with you, but Foster had to be the reason for the trip. Having said that, Roger and a couple others are certainly in his peripheral thinking as well. |

Most deffinatly. I just feel that after the world cup why not? They were consistant throughout the whole of last year, Roger Johnson is only 27 and Scott Dann is only 24 there both the right age to get a call up, Phill Jagelka was given the chance after not much time in the Premier League if I remember correctly so why not Johnson and Dann? |

Just at the stairs that lead down to the main reception outside the Legends lounge, he was being ambushed by loads of people so I joined in and managed to get a quick snap before he was ushered away, he said he was on his way to Manchester |

Yes, he's a busy man. At Villa Park amongst the 20k fans on Friday night and today at St Andrews before shooting up to Manchester for City's game against Valencia. HHmmm..... Valencia twice in two days... maybe that's his next job? We can only hope. |
