Just been talking to a fuham mate, and he says that andy johnson will not be a regular for them this season, and what about trying to bring him back to brum, even if it'sonly on loan. Going into aleague campaign with only three recognised strikers is a big gamble, especially with one who isn't proven in this league and has not yet scored a goal for the club

I wouldn't bother risking signing an injury prone player like Johnson. Although it would be nice to see him back at Blues. He was the first player I saw score! back in the 99/00 season.

He's not very good. He's never been very good.

The season he scored 21 goals in the Premier League - take out the penalties - he scored less than/as many as Cameron Jerome did this season.

Jerome is 23 and improving every year.

In conclusion Jerome is better, less injury prone and has more potential than AJ.

we're not talking about a long term move here, more of a backup thing, like phillips.

Cant see Andy Johnson coming back here to just be back up.

He'll want to play, and will be on big wages following some big money moves to Everton and Fulham.

Not worth it IMO.
