Scored the gamewinner this weekend in injury time - last kick of the match. Then he dedicated the goal to Antonio Valencia, holding up a shirt saying "God is with you A. Valencia".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bK9M3vJ_RY...player_embedded

That makes 8 goals in 7 matches, he leads the Mexican league.

I noticed he scored for Ecuador earlier in the month as well.

*sigh* just depressing

i don't think it's just the league why Chucho didnt score

guarenteed if he was at Arsenal he'd be banging them in for fun no doubt. but it's a well known fact that Blues is the strikers graveyard. we could sign Drogba and still make him look like a bad player

That is rubbish, Forse got enough didnt he.This is the toughest league in the world that is why goalscoring is at a premium. Chuchou had his chance and didnt take it. End of as far as i8 can see.

7 goals in 6 games.

http://www.footytube.com/video/club-santos...ara-aug29-54800

Chucho scores the 2-0 at 1:30...

again just shows how poor the league is, jerome would have a hatrick every game in that league

:LMAO:

Although he did not score many he was valuable to this team. He excited the crowd which got the crowd going, which got the players going. Hes trickery and creativity is missed

Yep, I knew we'd miss him.

He was one of if not the best PL player for running at defenders and playing great balls.

I was gutted that we didn't pay to keep him. People say the £5m is too much (they'd have taken £5m) but they were judging him on the wrong qualities.

If we signed a 15-20 goal a season man we'd all say fair enough, but we haven't. We all loved Chucho. Shame he's gone.

Totaly agree and he was not on the reported 50k a week that our basketball player that can not jump is on.
could of got him for less , and paid less wages , but no we rush to sign circus act, was not even a
panic buy AMC was desperate to get him would not know a good striker if he was punched in face by one,
Bruce had same problem and he had been punched by a few, :banner:

Agreed.

People on this site are hypocrites.

They say to "give Zigic time", "get off his back", "it took Tevez a season before he came good" etc etc then they point towards Chucho's lack of goals and use that as an example of why he wasn't good enough for Blues to sign him but forget the important role that he played during our unbeaten run.

Zigic up to now has done sweet fa.

Was against bringing back Chucho at the end of last season, but every moment that Zigic is on the pitch makes me wish he was still here.

If we merged all the bring Chucho back threads together it would be 600 pages long!

He has gone and won't be coming back (not unless he gets to grips with English anyway).
