Luck plays a huge part in a season and we don't seem to get our share...

Are you serious?
We dont get our share of luck?

Sunderland away we are 2.0 down and heading for a hammering, LUCKY for us cattermole gets sent off and we end up getting a LUCKY draw..

Blackburn at home they miss a penalty hit the post and Ben Foster is man of the match making numerous top class saves, but we get LUCKY and get an undeserved LUCKY win.

Rochdale at home out play us in the first half and some of the second they were very unlucky to lose and we were LUCKY to get a penalty with another unconvincing performance and LUCKY win.

like the way you put in how many goals per STARTS jerome has, yet forssell and derbyshire have had alot less starts than jerome..
if you cant see jeromes weakness' then i feel for you.
ofc people can see his strengths, but imo his weakness' overshadow them.

I put the total next to the starts...

I took the other 2 of wikipedia and jeromes of the BCFC website as i thought theyd be more accurate..

And Kev...we are 1 up away from home and Bolton have their goalie sent off...gift! Oh...and them its 2-2.

Without the luck we have had we would be 0 for 3 and bottom of the league!

I know ill get slated for this and its another opportunity for you to have a good, but look at these statistics and have some food for though.

Everyones Favourite Striker- Forssell.

2003¨C2004 ¡ú Birmingham City (loan) 32 (17)
2004¨C2005 ¡ú Birmingham City (loan) 4 (0)
2005¨C2008 Birmingham City 65 (13)

Total of 30 goals in 101 apps

Everyone on this forums new toy - Derbyshire.

2004¨C2009 Blackburn Rovers 62 (10)
2004¨C2005 ¡ú Plymouth Argyle (loan) 12 (0)
2005¨C2006 ¡ú Wrexham (loan) 16 (10)
2009 ¡ú Olympiacos (loan) 13 (8)
2009¨C Olympiacos 21 (6)
2010¨C ¡ú Birmingham City (loan) 2 (1)

35 goals in 125 appearance

Cameron Jerome.

Birmingham 2009 - 10 League 32 (0) 10
FA Cup 4 (0) 0
Birmingham 2008 - 09 League 25 (18) 9
FA Cup 1 (0) 0
League Cup 0 (1) 1
Birmingham 2007 - 08 League 21 (12) 7
FA Cup 0 (1) 0
Birmingham 2006 - 07 League 20 (18) 7
FA Cup 2 (0) 0
League Cup 4 (0) 2

That works out to 34 goals in 107 Starts. (157 total)

How can we be knocking someone that has as good a record as people like Forssell and Derbyshire.

I dont see how we can complain, weve scored 10 goals in 4 games, something we struggled to do last year, we arent beaten in the first 3 games of the premiership,

Still not good enough for some people.

Support the team not slate them at every opportunity, Jerome missed a chance on his weaker foot but lets not blame him because we drew, a mixture of the ref and ourselves drew that game. we let bolton back at us in the second half.

We should be happy that were doing so well as opposed to slating players who need all the confidence they can get.

How about we do something different and actually get behind the team!

I don't like having a go at players but today CJ didn't look interested, we would have been better off putting Helen Keller up front today, she might even have won a header.

Luck plays a huge part in a season and we don't seem to get our share...

Are you serious?

Kro.

It wasn't LUCKY for us that Cattermole got sent off it was his own sheer stupidity by making a reckless tackle less than 10 mins after being carded.

Blackburn at home we deserved to win. By saying Blackburn MISSED a penalty you make it sound like a Carew Row Z effort. That ball was going in and Ben Foster made an outstanding save. Robbo had to make a fair few himself, but overall we took our chances and they didn't take their's. Simples.

Rochdale, I'll give you we had some luck.

If you play negative football against ten men, you deserve all you get. :silence:  Was that C Js fault as well?

2-0 up ain't negative football tomatoes

We must have watched different games mate, as when you are trying to play in your own half against a team with one man less , would you call that positive? We had two players on the bench who cost 9 million
quid and they cannot get a game. If I was the chairman I would not be a happy bunny. But still, if you are happy with a point againt ten men, you are easily satisfied.

I dont think anyone has ever said the sun shines out of his bum cheeks, we all know he can miss an easy chance, but he can also score an important goal here and there as he proved last year.

Just dont see how a left footed chance can be deemed such a sitter, his first chance of the game in the 90th minute, he already had an assist to his belt,

i think you people today are frustrated we have given 2 goals away, but lets not blame that on jerome because he has missed one.

Blame it on the ref, the team as a whole for allowing Bolton to come onto us as much as they did.

But to blame 1 man for 2 points loss is abit silly considering its a TEAM game.

Tevez missed a sitter today and he's world class. Happens to the best of them, I seem to remember Chuch missing at least one last season as well... but he was still the 'messiah'. If Cam had done that he'd have been **** all over.

Chucho wasn't the messiah, most people just think he should have been given a couple of years before he gets slated. Same with Zig he should be given a couple of seasons before people call him rubbish.

Tevez missed a sitter today and he's world class. Happens to the best of them, I seem to remember Chuch missing at least one last season as well... but he was still the 'messiah'. If Cam had done that he'd have been **** all over.

Talking of chucho we have till Tuesday to get a decent striker in dont we?

Makes perfect sense :)

3 league games = no goals from our flop strikers..

That's true and maybe if we wait for the entire season he'll repeat his showing of 3 goals last season. I did like Chucho but they were asking too much money for what he was worth.

I know ill get slated for this and its another opportunity for you to have a good, but look at these statistics and have some food for though.

Everyones Favourite Striker- Forssell.

2003¨C2004 ¡ú Birmingham City (loan) 32 (17)
2004¨C2005 ¡ú Birmingham City (loan) 4 (0)
2005¨C2008 Birmingham City 65 (13)

Total of 30 goals in 101 apps

Everyone on this forums new toy - Derbyshire.

2004¨C2009 Blackburn Rovers 62 (10)
2004¨C2005 ¡ú Plymouth Argyle (loan) 12 (0)
2005¨C2006 ¡ú Wrexham (loan) 16 (10)
2009 ¡ú Olympiacos (loan) 13 (8)
2009¨C Olympiacos 21 (6)
2010¨C ¡ú Birmingham City (loan) 2 (1)

35 goals in 125 appearance

Cameron Jerome.

Birmingham 2009 - 10 League 32  (0) 10
    FA Cup                              4  (0) 0
Birmingham 2008 - 09 League 25  (18) 9
    FA Cup                        1  (0) 0
    League Cup                0  (1) 1
Birmingham 2007 - 08 League 21  (12) 7
    FA Cup                        0  (1) 0
Birmingham 2006 - 07 League 20  (18) 7
    FA Cup                        2  (0) 0
    League Cup 4  (0) 2

That works out to 34 goals in 107 Starts. (157 total)

How can we be knocking someone that has as good a record as people like Forssell and Derbyshire.

I dont see how we can complain, weve scored 10 goals in 4 games, something we struggled to do last year, we arent beaten in the first 3 games of the premiership,

Still not good enough for some people.

Support the team not slate them at every opportunity, Jerome missed a chance on his weaker foot but lets not blame him because we drew, a mixture of the ref and ourselves drew that game. we let bolton back at us in the second half.

We should be happy that were doing so well as opposed to slating players who need all the confidence they can get.

How about we do something different and actually get behind the team!

:Blues:

I cant see any Stats for how many times he gives the ball away..

I cant see any Stats for the amount of times he fails to control a football..

I cant see any Stats for how many times he trips over the ball..

I cant see any Stats how many times he shoots and misses the ball..

I cant see any Stats that show how lazy he is..

I cant see any Stats for his lack of awareness or reading the game..

I cant see any Stats for his p$ss poor shooting..

I cant see any Stats for his shocking heading ability..

ect...

You wont see any stats for how many times he shoots & misses the ball, because i dont think he has done that or if he has maybe once or twice. Lazy?? If Jerome is anything hes not lazy, he chases players down and causes havoc.

Yes he's a donkey at times but he's a threat with his pace and his work rate. And he was our top scorer last season, scoring an absolute screamer at anfield!! Which doesnt happen with blues players. Also there was a thread last season that he scored more than Berbatov and several other top players, cant remember off the top of my head.

Chucho wasn't the messiah, most people just think he should have been given a couple of years before he gets slated. Same with Zig he should be given a couple of seasons before people call him rubbish.

we are not in a position to wait a couple of seasons for strikers to come good, we also dont need 30 a season strikers, we just need someone who can match the good showing our leading goal scorer last season showed, if someone matched his amount of goals this season and he hit the same number we would be a-ok.

Now my memory isnt as good as it once was, what is the name of our leading goal scorer from last season? jameron carome wasnt it? I think I have got a few of those letters the wrong way round...anyone help me remember the name of our leading goal scorer last season... I have a feeling bluenosekev will know...
