Now this n' zogbia deal is through who else is left that would not be a money grabber and who would join in the time left in the market.

I think that joe ledley would be a target as he has not made a move anywhere to the big clubs and with bellamy there now they need the money less than half the price, more money on a defender

You know what I can't even bring myself to think about it, firstly I'm just sick of the transfer window already and b I don't want to bother getting myself excited about people who we aren't going to sign. I've been doing it for the past two transfer windows!

We might as well go back in for stan. Hes the right age and we should be just about able to afford him.

Both good players as well.

We need to weigh up whether any potential signings are actually better than Nathan Redmond!!! ;)

Hatem Ben Arfa?

Although his attitude and wage demands are probably worser than N'Zogbia's.

Id go back in for Babel, a cheeky loan bid.

Alas we should have realised about N'Zogbia weeks ago, and now we are are left scraping around with a couple of days to go

so much for ecks due dilligence.

yes we need a player of N'zogbia's ilk, but we didnt need
to do any due dilligence to realise he was a greedy cnut and not good for our club.

get Babel in, i know he aint squeaky clean, but he is 20 times the player zog is and he needs to play football. Liverpool are ready willing and able to sell.

but who, it appears wants to join us?...

What's wrong with Fads with Redmond as backup (and Fahey back to for him, quite frankly.)

I'd much prefer we go looking for a decent left back (possibly on loan) so that we've cover for Ridgewell should be be injured, or have to move into the centre for whatever reason.

Yep, and didn't think he was up to it personally. Totally out of position for their opener, and generally wasn't all that great defensivly. Granted he scored, but their right side was a threat all night, and I put that down to him.

And everyones forgetting about Enric Valles In his first interview upon joining the Blues, Vallès described himself as a "left midfielder who can also play on the wing" whose main attributes were his dribbling and his work ethic; which was clearly evident in his debut against Rochdale. He impressed McLeish in pre-season and he has described him as a good footballer.

While Valles didn't make much of a impression of the left wing against Rochdale the simple fact of the matter is that he wasn't played in as a winger by the rest of the squad. Enric kept trying to support the play through central midfield but as in the case of Babel at Liverpool who was often told to takeup the RM flank if your gonna have wingers on the pitch other players must use them so they can support the CJ, MD and NZ front men. Big Eck and Peter Grant may yet develop Valles in a more forward position on the left wing as Seb is alleged to be attempting at RM as part of our game play and he should be more effective there than McFadden.

What about Matty Taylor? He can play at both left midfield and left back and quite good at set pieces.

Or we could ask Arsenal if they can give us Carlos Vela on loan for experience :)

Nobody - we're never shown much interest in lining up a Plan B so I'd assume that's it for this window. What a c&ck up. Again.

Yes....said that on another thread

And I'd also honestly prefer Babel to Big Time Charlie N'Zobgia in all honesty

And what about Nathan Redmond the other night ??.....OK, it was only against Rochdale but what a future star he looks to be ....I was well impressed......give him a break as a sub against Bolton, Eck

Lets face it we were in for Nzog, robber because we lack pace and directness on the wing so Fads and Fahey don't fit the bill,Redmond is 16 so must be used sparingly.
We must sign someone with pace who can cross a ball first time or we will never get the best out of Zigic or his signing will end up a complete waste of time and money.
