Surely that's the sort of thing to think about Redmond, who's still developing, rather than a supposed top class player you scouted and then bought? Does he think the same about Zigic I wonder?

Once 2 nil up Mich should have replaced Bowyer, and along with Fergie could have helped us keep the ball, but hey Fahey , Fahey, Fahey.....must come first ?

And 2 nil up SLOW would have suited us.

I was wondering where he was, when we were 2-0 up with the game nearly won I think Michel would of been a great player to bring on. As hes a defensive midfielder He would of slowed the game down with his slick simple passing and I would if brought him on for bowyer as he was on a yellow card. < <

He was fairly average v Rochdale...he's obviously lost confidence in not being given a decent chance...far better than Fahey tho'

Michel plays when Ferguson is left out (Rochdale) or gets injured / loses form. I'm sure he was told this and I'm sure his salary is sufficient recompense. At some stage BF will be taken out of games after 60-70mins. This will happen when AM thinks BF is losing stamina and M is a better option.

My gut feeling is if the opportunity arises for AM to say to M "you will start the next six games and if you do well you will keep your place" he will rise to the challenge.
