Would be ok, jumps out of tackles & has turned us down in the past... But is a born again Christian now so would be ok for 6months!

The kid's fantastic, good defender with pace to burn. This signing would make me excited.

Agree :)

If we got him, and a winger on loan..

It would really make up for the last 3 weeks :)

come on Blues lets get this one done.

if both Blues and Juventus are in then realistically its down to whether Wenger would prefer him to remain in the best league in the world or a league that he can easily deal with and wont push him.

He's the replacement for nzogbia. He can play on the wing and imo is quick but that's about it. Dodgy defender and we're getting jiranek who plays left back. Desperation signing. Cheap and poor alternative to nzogbia. Adds pace but lacks ability and work rate. But on loan, not as bad as signing permanent. Also the signings we're about to make don't point to a club with money. Sorry for the doom and gloom. But don't want to hear so and so asked for too much money etc etc. If we had the money this fiasco with nzogbia wouldve happened months ago. Why do you think we left it till last minute. To use the excuse of not having enough time to get in a player of that price. Even though I guarentee we'll see quite a few signings for 6 mill and over by tomorrow afternoon. So disappointed.

if wenger had to pick you'd think he'd pick us as wengers going to want him to get used to prem football and with us he'd get it lots of pace and can play on the wing to so would be brilliant for us
next question: ridge or traore or faddy or traore
still great cover

He has pace to burn, so would we be better putting him at LM?

We may be able to get him on a permanent deal if we are lucky because keiran gibbs is seen as clichys backup/successor.

no brainer then really isnt it, glad you see my point. :LMAO:

it only comes down to the player to chose though if Arsenal accept both approaches.

He's got pace and that's one thing we DEFINITELY need!

We need bodies aswell, after our first 11 and a couple of subs the quality is simply not there.

Im crossing my fingers, toes, everything that we get him and/or 1 or 2 more.... C'MON ECK AND THE BOARD!! :Blues:

The boy's a winger, most definitely not a left back, he isnt a solid enough defender for LB but, being a LB so long at Arsenal, he'd have had the position drilled into him, so he'll be good at tracking back and helping out the left back id have thought.

Quick, skilful, tricky and has a decent cross on him... wouldnt be a bad signing...also a realistic possibility of signing him at the end of the season if he impresses as I cant see him getting in at Arsenal

Would be a very good addition to the squad. Competing with Juve probably puts us a second choice - unless we can guarantee him first team football. I dont think he'll get that guarantee at Juve. I believe that's why Hleb is preferring us to Benfica.

If we could get both Hleb and Traore, then this will turn out to be a very good transfer window

Personally if i was Traore i'd tell Juve not to bother.
The racist problems in Italy why bother going? Your just going to be chanted at like your a monkey. Its disgusting what they get away with in Italy and i don't know why any player of a non caucasion origin would bother going when their authorities arnt serious about stamping it out.

Show what he can do in the PL for a stable club and he might end up moving up Arsenals pecking order for next yr.
