Jiranek

AM is not prepared to disrupt the whole defence by moving LR to centre back in the event of an injury or suspension to RJ/SD

AM has seen signs of complacency in RJ/SD so he has given them real competition.

I am sure MJ has been warned that he is unlikely to start many games though.

Hleb

Pace, guile, intelligent running down the centre

To play in the hole in 4-4-1-1

To give a real boost to the squad in terms of ambition

Beausejour

Pace, directness, orthodox wing play

To enable more effective playing on the break in away games

To enable McFadden to move to the right side of midfield.

We missed out on Traore, but this signing seems to reflect the need to get a more effective attacking threat from LB, have an orthodox player for that position and that DM is not a good enough back up at the moment.

I agree with everything you have said but the complacency of RJ and SD as I think they have been excellent again.

Johnson was out of this world Sunday against Bolton, the new John Terry (in certain aspects  )

i don't think either of them have complacency in their locker!

Agreed I think its a disgrace that Mathew Upson and Joeleon Lescott are in the England set up and Dann and Johnson are not.
