Love it, but sometimes bloody uncomfortable viewing. Had to walk out the room after about two minutes when my partner's eldest decided she wanted to watch it aswell.

Watched it from the first episode and never looked back.

It's basically about a bunch of lads trying to be cool and pull birds, and just about failing every time. Sounds rubbish but it's good.

Empathises the pressure of pier pressure. I can definately relate to it with my youth.

it's basically a camoedy about 4 mates at a sixth form college. they don't really fit into any other social group so kind of became friends because no-one else would be friends with them, hence the name inbetweeners. it just follows their numerous attemps to get laid or look cool which usually ends in hillarious circumstances.

i once likened it to last of the summer wine, but with teenagers.

it's maintained the same level of quality throughout it's whole existance but if you have access to 4od then i would strongly reccommend you try to watch last nights episode.

of course it is all a matter of taste. if you don't like purile, crude humour then you probably won't like it. though i've never met anyone who doesn't, even my misses who normally hates stuff like that.

i would put up some clips but they'd prob be taken down because of the material. check some out on youtube if you want a taster.

I was gonna post a thread on this yesterday but I werent sure how many people would watch it/find it funny.

I totally agree about laughing out loud, I never usually but Inbetweeners literally has me crying with laughter.

I cant mention any of the quotes for the obvious reasons, but it is tooooo funny!

I have no idea how you can think it's badly acted. It's meant to be awkward and uncomfortable, and that's exactly how they make it. Some of the facial expressions those 4 have just crack me up, without them even saying anything.

It's like watching 9 years of school in 25 minutes.

I agree with this so much. Unless you were the most popular person in school by a country mile your whole life, which, lets face it, you weren't, you will relate to it no problem.

And there going to be a film as well.

The problem with the film is that there might be a different person playing Will.

I read somewhere that all the lads were offered the same money to appear in the film, everyone agreed to it and signed, apart from the lad who plays Will, who told them that he thinks he deserves a higher wage then the other 3 lads.

Its stupid that he has that attitude. I couldnt imagine someone else playing Will... Wouldnt be the same

That's always the main worry, that someone will get above themselves. He may have a point when it comes to getting more than the film, but personally, even though he's the central character, I probably don't find him as funny as the rest.

There's probably loads of geek types that could pull off the part just as good or better, but it's that thing of now because it's had 3 series, we've all got set in our ways of seeing him play that role.

I think Jay makes me laugh the most.

Brilliant show but I'll probably steer clear of the film, as I worry I'll probably only find it a total let-down. Should have left it as a cult series imo.

Worry no more he has agreed to do the film, think there was an issue over how much writing input he had.

The blokes that play Will and Simon are the main writers on this, and went to Cambridge together!!

They are doing a x-mas special first and then the film, the film is them going on holiday after they leave school, they was filming in Ibiza and had to stop as they kept being recornised.
