In no particular order.... 1 - Dark Knight - whole film from start to finish simply fantastic, watched it 3 times at the cinema (once at the imax) 2 - Usual suspects - Kevin Spacy at the end of the film (enough said!) 3 - Jay & Silent Bob - the third spot could be anything Kevin Smith related but this makes it due to Will Ferrell |

The Shawshank Redemption The Big Lebowski Raiders of the Lost Ark Too difficult a question. Haven't even mentioned The Godfather (1&2 only). Favourite films within each genre would be easier. The Dude Abides |

I've just bought the blue-ray version of Dawn of the dead, there are three versions in it although two are DVD, the theatrical version is in blue-ray, there is an argento cut, I've never seen that one so it will be interesting to see that one. My favs in no order. Alien Star wars 1977 Quadrophinia. |

Shawshank in my opion the greatest "Set in prison movie ever" Also liked Pappilion (not sure about the spelling) Steve McQueen Dustin Hoffman. As an ex amateur boxer I thought the Rocky movies were pants, but actually loved the training regimes in these movies. |

I forgot to say The Usual Suspects. Best movie twist ever. I have my first amateur boxing match in 3 weeks time so have been watching the Rocky movies this weekend. 3 down 2 to go, I'm not going to watch 5 as it's rubbish! :banner: |

Mulholland Drive 1984 Eyes Wide Shut 1 and 3 not for the obvious reasons :D but the suspense and mystery they leave you in. Very well put together with brilliant sound-tracks. The sound track can really make or break a film. I'm not a particularly great fan of anything else Kubrick or David Lynch did, especially 2000AD A Space Odyssey. Could never get into that for some reason. |
