Try not to eat too much meat if possible so when I do I tend to go for better stuff.

Buffalo (Bison) -a lot less fat than beef, high protein meat and tastes so much better than beef.

Venison - low on calories and low on fat

Chicken - When Buffalo and Venison is not available or looking for a ceaper meat.

I've had shark fin soup a long time ago. I would advise anyone thinking of buying shark fin to think again as the shark is often fished purely for its tail with the rest of it's body being chucked back into the sea.

I've not tried it as a meat using the body of a hark but I've heard it's a taste that takes a little getting used to.

I might give it a go if I can find someone that sells it.

Very much a taste all to its own - also it has to be cooked right otherwise it can be dangerous (poisonous even)

Me, I like it, but others I know who tried it thought it was the most horrendous thing they tasted.

I didnt know that about shark fins, but I do know they fish seals only for fins. Im not into that. I love my meat but if your going to kill and animal make use of as much of it as possible

Spike Milligan tried shark meat once. He said, "to duplicate the taste, try boiling newspapers in Sloane's linament...."
