I've been checking up on live news updates on my phone all through the night. Haven't had much sleep; but how exciting and emotional has it been? :applause:

It'd be good if everyone hid when the first one came out.

Absolutely Brilliant achievement. Very emotional and I sincerely hope they all, including the two rescuers who went down to them come out sound and well.

It will be in about two weeks time, when the euphoria wears off that it will hit them. And their families.

Good luck to them all. A magnificient achievement.

I believe NASA were involved but only to learn from the process of people being isolated in extreme conditions

was it just me or did Miner no. 3 and his wife seem only 'just a little bit happy' to see other again? :D
just kidding, :D it must have been an unimaginable burden which is now happily over
I thought the little son of miner no.1 crying and greeting his Dad was very heart-warming.
Nice to see a happy story for once.

Why do you always talk direct to the subject matter? Last week you was talking to Tony Curtis like he was your best mate. Not only is it highly unlikely that he was ever registered to read this message board, he was also very dead at the time.

america and canada played there part as far as i understand, they provided the drill bits and the engineers to supervise the drilling.
just watched the ex footballer come up, they gave him a signed football when he got out the cage and he did keepy uppy with it with his miners boots on. looks like he could still get a game with blues.

Was I the only person expecting Gazza to turn up with a Sainsburys bag, Newcastle top and a fishing rod?

just watched the last miner rescued shortly before 2-00am oour time. it was one of the events of our time, like watching the berlin wall come down. it was quite emotional for the rescuers and the president when the last miner, the forman came up. he said to the mines minister i have just done a 60 day shift and you are footing the bill.
