We owe this man so much! Helping to get us promoted, the winner against our rivals Wolves and helping us to get into the quarter finals of a cup competition. This bloke surely deserves respect and more playing time for the countless amount of times he has got us out of the brown stuff. I know his age and the fact that we have other strikers who need game time I.e. Derbyshire and O’Conner keep him out but surely for loyalty reason KP, should now start ahead of those guys? At least until the end of the season?

P.S Kev, your up there with the likes of Claridge and Horsefield now :banner:

Kev would (and i believe has) admitted that he couldn't start week in week out at this stage of his career (nor should he), but as he's shown tonight he still has goals to offer at critical moments...

Brilliant signing full stop

Let's not forget too, he lasted 120 minutes tonight AND scored a penalty.

He always challenges himself to another season at the top level. I reckon he still has a decent level of fitness... Maybe he does deserve more game time

No because Brentford are not exactly a premiership side playing at premiership pace - and Phillips wouldn't cope.

I don't think start, but what a man to have coming off the bench when we need a goal.

He was and still is top class material

Always remember in that microsecond I thought it's going to go over the bar!

Never been so happy. Sad really just an away point but at the time it felt like winning the world cup.

Happy days.

We can make a real fight of this on Sunday and sneak it.
