That was what i was thinking looking at this pic! But well done Maik! I liked the way the first thing he did was go to other other keeper to shake hands before celebrating with the team

True, model professional.

Doesn't moan about being out the side, keeps himself fit, and performs admirably when he gets a chance, just like he did in the earlier rounds, and just as he did against Man CIty at home last season.

Well done Maik! :applause:

That's what you get from players like Maik who have done a proper job outside of football. They always seem level headed, non-arrogant types. Maik Taylor, Geoff Horsfield, DJ Campbell. Good to have them around.

we will miss him when he calls it a day, but would love to have him as a GK coach

Did anyone see that Alex said Dave Watson told Maik before the shootout that the last penalty taker for Brentford often shot straight down the middle which is why he stood his ground?

We are starting to owe Dave Watson so much!

Ian Dowie has just mentioned this on sky sports news

Slightly off topic, but why doesn't Scotty Dann take all our pen's.......

We already have the best goal keeper coach in the biz.

Was explaining to my nipper at the game last night why Foster wasn't playing & found myself remembering the first time I saw Maik in action - it was at Loftus Road in a cup game & try as we might we just could not get past him even though we had a stupid amount of shots - I remember saying to my mate that night "We should go & get him - what a quality keeper". Add to that a model professional & I think we can all agree he is & has been worth his weight in gold :Blues:
Well done Maik :applause:

£1.5 million - a bargain for what we got and for what he's done for the club over the years.
