This has nothing to do with last might FIFA and bladder just don't like us infect I would say most of the countries involved don't like us either, it will be inferred it was things like last night but we all know it's not.

It wouldn't surprise me if there's more corruption in FIFA than there is in Italy.

I didn't want it anyway if I'm being honest.

Russia doesn't sound like it would be a great World Cup venue. They barely have a league there.

We didnt need or want it, let all the mindless hooligans trash Russian towns and cities, I really dont see any positives of hosting it tbh

so FIFA, in there drive to kick rascism out of football, have rewarded one of the most rascist countries in the world by giving them the biggest sporting tournament in the world.

nice one.

can we start a sweepstake on when the first corruption stories will start coming out from the people who are organising the tournament?

Well I'm glad our media did highlight the corruption. It should not be swept under the carpet.

So Russia need to build 15 stadia, lay some proper pitches instead of the bloody plastic ones theyve got now, sort the constant racism and rioting, and then sort out transport before being in any state to host it...

After that World Cup, Qatar have to build 22 stadia and have to play the matches indoors due to the temperatures over there? How are they considered the best bids to host the biggest event in football?

To get 2 measly votes, 1 from our own bloke, and 1 from Turkey is scandalous, when we've been told all week how our bid tops the "FIFA reports", how our bid is "remarkable" and is the best for footballing reasons, yet 2018 ends up going to a country flagged up for not having enough stadia, poor transport, aswell as a far worse hooliganism record... and 2022 goes to Qatar, who dont have any stadia, have to play indoors, and was the only bid to get flagged up by FIFA as "high risk"...yet it still beats the likes of USA and Australia..

Corruptness indeed.

hERE'S MY TAKE ON IT.

England's bid was by far the best. We already have the infrastructure.

Now then, more and more concern is being made about Brazil 2014. They are holding it all around the country (huge country) and the airports haven't even been startrd yet.

FIFA are worried and England is the ideal last-minute switch.

You heard it here first.

You could be onto something there, Brazils world cup looks beyond shaky

As much as i want that to happen it wont Due to all the funding that has gone into that country so far...

Was like South Africa they built airports just to ferry fans round then closed them lol

On another note. Anyone going to brave it to russia? Last time we only took 4000 there and it was horrific. Imagine it when 25,000 of us go...

Really thinking of giving this one a miss

The reason Putin didnt bother going was because he already knew it was theirs.

Id hardly say Russia is "the most racist country in the world"

I think thats OTT.

Russia has a big football following, I dont think giving them the World Cup is the biggest shock - Qatar is the one thats a joke to me!

The worst for me is:

2010 - South Africa - highest rape rate in world
2014 - Brazil - one of the highest crime rates in the world - hooligan problem
2020 - Russia - one of highest crime rates in world - hooligan problem
2024 - Qatar - huge human rights abuses.

Seems strange......

Homosexuality is punished by 80 lashes in Qatar, and we give the World Cup to these backward places? Way to go FIFA...
