Is anyone watching 'Goals on Sunday' I love the guy anyway, and I absolutely love the way he always speaks his mind. They just showed the highlights from our game yesterday, and Holloway spent the whole time talking about us. Something along the lines of.. ''Birmingham taught us a lesson this season in how to pass the ball. They never ever give up, I love them, their football, the crowd when they get going.. And yeah there may have been a little bit of crowd trouble on Wednesday, but they're a great team, and Alex will be proud'' Also saying that we defend better than most teams, basically just full of compliments for us. Also, fair play to Ben Shepherd and Kammy, they called our win on Wednesday 'An amazing Carling Cup victory', and they could of took an easy pop at us about the trouble, but instead they focused on how good we have been, I dont even think Tottenham got a mention. Exactly why I prefer this programme to MOTD. Cheers lad :applause: |

Always liked him he's honest and there's not many managers around like that today. I remember him moaning about proffesional footballers , it went along the lines of , footballers today have no loyalty to any club and all they want is to go to a big team and achieve something , he said I tell you what achievement is, it's seeing a disabled child struggling to walk ten yards and seeing the look on their face when they do it. Haveing a disabled child myself I know exactly what he ment. Apart from his honesty I like the way he gets the best out of his teams. |

I think he's the only manager, possibly the MK Dons and Brentford managers as well, that has given us any credit for the way we played in a game against them. Sure we haven't been world beaters this season and at times it's been last ditch defending but it seems that most managers expect us to roll over and be tickled by the so called bigger teams and that our victory or draw against them is worth nothing as it was them that should have won. Olly was a breath of fresh air when they played us and I think he's made a lot of friends at St Andrews this season and I hope that other clubs and supporters have listened and show some respect towards him and his team this season. I certainly do not want Blackpool relegated unless it's a case of us or them. P.S. I don't see how this is a football chat topic when it relates to Birmingham City. |

Yeah I saw it. He is pretty spot on with what he said about us defending set pieces and as long as we have bazza in the middle we will always be a good passing team. Just wish we could attack like his Blackpool team though. Thought it was interesting that he doesn't choose to go over his teams mistakes when they concede goals no matter how sloppy they were. Surely constructive criticism would be beneficial in similar situations in the future. |

Yeah a real family bloke. I remember a few years ago there was a tv program about him away from football and one of his daughters said he shouts a lot which is silly because he forgets we deaf sometimes and we can't hear him. :LMAO: Top bloke. |
