I'll be back for the Man City home game Feb 1st, just wondering if anyone knows of a decent B & B / hotel with parking in or around the centre. |

How long you going to be here for? There's a premier inn just broad street/holiday street backs onto the canal that looks nice, never stayed there though but for location it looks good and has parking. **thumbup |

Cheers jassy. I ended up booking the Premier Inn in town, 70 quid for a twin room including all you can eat breakfast, parking was only 9 quid for 24 hours. I was going to book a travelodge on Hagley Rd, but I'd have ended up spending the same on cabs in & out of town. Now for the next question....where's the best curry house? :lager: :lager: |

I've got the Paragon Hotel in Digbeth next week for £40, which looks like it's a decent halfway house between the ground and town. A few internet reviews say it's rubbish, but we'll give it a go. I booked through laterooms.com |

It's the old workhouse I think. And yes, I think it's going to be taxis to and from there. |

My sister in law works there fella! I'll be honest with ya it's got good and bad points! The one floor is not really used as it is falling apart. However they do use it sometimes when the hotel is full... Let's just hope it ain't full! Location wise it's good! But for 40 quid I think you can't go wrong! |
