According to quite a few media sources, Alan Pardew could be named as the new Newcastle manager as early as tomorrow.

Unless i've missed something behind the scenes, what is going on in Mike Ashley's head?

I've read that Ashley and Pardew had meetings about it as long as 10 days ago and that they're quite good mates outside of football. Not sure how true that is though.

Feel really sorry for their fans, 9 managers in 6 years and 6 of them coming since Ashley took over in 2007 if you include whoever comes in next.

Robson, Roeder, Souness, Allardyce, Keegan, Kinnear, Shearer, Hughton and probably Pardew.

I thought the David's and Brady were bad towards the end, but Ashley is something else. Ridiculous.

Pardew would be a big step backwards. What on earth is going on at the club?

Sky Sports understands that Pardew is expected to be named the new manager at Newcastle later today

If so, he'd be unlikely to take over the team Saturday v Liverpool so his very first game could be

Blues at St Andrews :Blues:

Now confirmed - Newcastle manager on a 5 1/2 year deal.
That's going to cost a bit when they sack him in 6 months time!!
:LMAO:
