Any ideas please.,

This may be similar to my laptop as i recently had the same problem...

If its under warranty of course use this first...

If not open up the back via the many small screws...

Clean out all the dust inside the back of it, ensure that all cables are connected correctly...

Take the RAM cards out, replace each one in turn (seperately) and turn the laptop on to ensure both of these are working correctly...

Double check there are no screws missing inside tha laptop itself... Also make sure nothings lose i.e. the fan etc...

:) Hope this helps :)

See if you can get a replacement battery from somewhere and try that... don't buy one just see if you can borrow one or something.
