A commercial traveller was off duty up in the Highlands when at the local fair he saw a sign £5 to see the Amazing Scotsman. He decides to see this phenomenon.

He really is amazed when this old Scotsman comes out and stands behind a table with three walnuts on it. After taking the audience's applause he whips up his kilt showing his almighty manhood and with one swipe at each walnut, smashes them into small pieces. He then retires to more applause.

After 15 years the traveller is back in the highlands and sees that this same fair is in town again. He looks around out of curiosity to see if the old Scotsman is still performing his act. Sure enough there's the notice, only it's gone up to £10 now. Anyway he goes into the tent just as they are carrying the old gent in, he could hardly stand, never mind walk. It was then that he noticed that instead of three walnuts, there were now three coconuts.

He thought crikey this guy must be eighty, if he's a day. He watches intently as to loud cheers the old guy lifts his kilt exposing his mighty manhood and smashes each coconut with a single blow.

After the show, the traveller stays behind to have a chat with the old Scot, He asks him, "Why at your age do you now choose coconuts instead of walnuts, surely it must be harder for you"? "Nae not at all laddie, Yae see it's my old eyes they're getting worse".
