I know you're only kidding Al.

I have a lot of friends who are school teachers. I can honestly say I wouldn't want to work the hours they work. Marking papers till 11/12PM every day of the week. I know all teachers aren't like that but those who are really dedicated do (my friends included) and they spend some of their own money on items for the kids.

Not for me I'm afraid anyway I wouldn't have the patience to teach.

Yeah, was going to say - you're definitely a teacher with those holidays?!

I've considered teaching, I have the qualifications for it and feel I could do it and be good at it!

But the ONE THING that puts me off - marking... Seriously, if it's true you're marking work every night of the week then it's not for me. Work starts at half 8, finishes at 5 - after that it's my time! Is it really that bad?

By the way, in response to the topic, off xmas day and boxing day, back to usual on monday. Snore. :D

You lot are so luck. Try being Father Christmas. I don't get any time off until after Christmas.

Still I do have a cracking time in my Grotto with all the little ones in the build up before Christmas.

One of the things I always ask them to do is to make sure that their bedrooms are nice and tidy(after I've asked them for their Xmas wish list) You see this is a great help to me as it's dark in a lot of those bedrooms, and I don't want to fall over and get my presents mixed up. Also remember that if all the bedrooms are tidy I can get around quicker and might be able to leave a few extra presents and surprises.

If you pass this message onto your little ones, I am assured it helps.

Happy Christmas.
