I mention some players and managers in here who I dont like but reading listening to a few different interviews today has reminded me what I like about moyes.

First off is his hnoesty...if his team play poor he will say, if theyre weak in a certain area he will say and if the ref was pap he will say.

second his everton teams have always been teams people find it hard to dislike....they are not dirty, they dont cheat, they dig in and work hard, play nice football and are a decent team to watch

third, he seems like a down right nice chap

Lets hope moyes and everton do a job on city

He's a nice bloke.

A bit like Mick McCarthy say's it how it is and will be bluntly honest about his team and opponents with a good sense of humour.

Baines' goal was pure class.
And yes I agree, Moyes is a good manager.

Apparently Bayern Munich are considering a £9 M bid.

Good field/ training manager - Yes.

Good at man-management - not so sure.

He can't cope with big names- "ego" players - say , and he cannot cope with arguments or dis-respect as he called it when he was involved in a brawl with one of his players in a bar. (Far East tour about 4/5 years ago)

He gets them up - his team - and they, like us I feel are constantly playing above their level.

If I rated him he would be higher than Allardyce ( who plays the percentages) Higher than Stevie B (who needs coaches too much). Higher than Pullis, Hodgson and the new fave Holloway.
I'd rate him well below Wenger and Ferguson.
And also below Mcleish.
Same team ethic, same reliance on dressing room spirit,as McLeish, but a culpabilty to the boardroom that saw him sell Rooney and Fadds. Also Marcus :banghead:
Everton are/were a rich club so his handling of money must be going on wages more than transfers. He plays matches without recognised strikers ( how would blues fans put up with a side like that? - however weak our strikers are, would they accept Bowyer as the main threat? - because that's what he does, with Cahill up front and Saha on the bench)

He has too many fisticuffs with players, Duncan Ferguson, Jo etc so I would question his ability to gain respect through discussion. :D

Overall, a good manager - Top Six at least. But, say he went to Man Utd - Real etc - how many brawls, disagreements, fights would he have to have with galacticos before he was dumped? Because they would win outside a dressing room.

Thats me eight farthing's worth. :D

Moyes is worth at least £15m on current form. Hes got his best years ahead of him aswell...
