And I quite agree with you: it is easy to spout rubbish from behind your keyboard.

You should know.

Its nothing to do with the groundman or anything like that. Its a combo of the frost getting into the roots and the amount of games played on it. Remember practically all our cups games have been at home as well.

The pitch is the poorest I've seen in the Premiership this season and I don't know why because I remember remarking to my missus how well it was holding up before Xmas. Some of you guys live in a fantasy world BTW.

Dont worry mate they just like to be blind when looking at anything negative, our pitch had not even been rolled for Man City to try at least make it flat, it is a poor pitch and needs ripping uo and relaying in the close season for sure.

if it gets ripped up again we'll soon find ourselves in the same situation.

this pitch has been decent until recently and imo just needs to be nursed through a little bit and left to bed in properly.

We have always had a bad pitch. We took left over wembly turf and it was no good at our place. We probably have a deep lying stream or something similar effecting it...

I blame the players- the way they run all over the pitch is disrespectful.

3 games in a week including extra time against wet spam is why the pitch is in a bad way

All the other prem sides have to play week in weeek out and up North have far worse weather than us but their pitches are far better, ours is always bumpy and uneven all the time, if it is to stop the better teams at our place I could understand but not agree.

YOu are talkin carp

Our pitch is no better or no worse than any other teams....and it certainly ain't bumpy or uneven like you claim.....rubbish thread, absolute rubbish

After the snow and extreme cold, it's about where it should be, don't know why you claim ,what you claim ? ?

Did you see it tonight or are you blind  even the commentataors were saying how bumpy and uneven it was, just accept we have a poor pitch and always have.

No i never hears the commentators,as i was at the game

All pitches look carp on telly KRO

We always have a great pitch this week was an exception, just because you have saw the pitch bad for one week do not assume it has always been bad, even when we had snow the pitch was near-perfect.

Ye there was an epic photo of it when the Newcastle game was cancelled with Stans covered in snow and the pitch looking a lush green.

We was already warned that after having it re-layed and the undersoil heating fitted that the pitch would take a few years to properly bed down.

Obviously the amount of games and weather haven't helped that process but I would prefer a trip to Wembley than a lush green pitch to play on...it will get us used to the Wembley pitch too!!

mate even before that we had a poor pitch I cannot remember ever seeing a really good pitch at our place.

We did have a very good pitch in years gone by, but since the end of the eighties/early nineties it has been pretty poor at times, has it got anything to do with the way the stadium is now to what it was before? im not sure but i do think it is a bit rough, although one or two other prem teams suffer with theirs too, ours isn't the best im afraid

Probably, but the poster said ours was the worst he'd seen this season. Simply pointing out that it's not.

Do you think it is a rubbish groundsman or is he told to prepare it that way?

Booby twiddling with his keyboard; "Hhhhmmmm - I can't moan about McLeish, I can't moan about the players, I can't moan about the playing system, I can't moan about the (good) signings that we've made, I can't moan about Pannu/the board/Yeung; what can I moan about....... oh I know I'll have a pop at the groundsman".

Its winter, a bad one at that, every pitch is the same, as has already been said, so get over yourself.

You really are a joker, and although I don't go along with the Viler rumours on here, you don't believe in making things easy for yourself, do you? Having said that, its easy to spout such rubbish from behind your keyboard.

The pitch is the worst in the Premiership and you have allowed your childish paranoia to cloud your judgement. Some of you 'he's a Viler' guys need to get a life.

worst in the prem? really? you need to take the anti blues specs off fella
