Someone on here said the other day that Moxley was actually a BlueNose (or used to support the club) and even wrote for the club once......I find that very hard to believe but if it is true, then why does he take every opportunity to take cheap shots at BCFC in his long standing role at The Daily Wind Up ?
Isn't this the same guy who was once banned from the press box by Karen Brady and The Sullivan regime at st Andrews for deragatory remarks aimed at the football club and in fact it's press facilities where Mr Moxley would try and keep himself warm with a hot cup of Bovril and an old blanket??

That was kimber, usualy spot on with his comments - he said neil used to write for the programme

Having checked his facebook out I can confirm he is a bluenose **thumbup

big bluenose - good lad too **thumbup

The reason why I came on here was to defend myself. Why should I have to put up with slurs against my character like that?

Neil Moxley

:crying:

How do we the fans defend ourselves against all the rubbish spouted about us for decades by the media in London?

How many of you went to the doctors the day after we won our semi final? those poor media darlings west ham deserved to be there more than us did'nt they?

Your thoughts on the paper that after the semi final posted online that Arsenal are carling cup winners 2011 please.

bluenose or not most blues fans had enough of the london press many years ago.. FACT

press full stop.

People are raving about colin and dont get me wrong tatts does a good job as did Andy who used to work for the mail but left I believe but the rest of the paper is also much more focused on other midlands clubs.

The following: metro, motd, itv, brum mail, daily mail, sun, notw just to name some I come into contact with on a regular basis and none give us the praise we deserve

Dont get me wrong, sometimes we deserve a bit of critisism, we aint a perfect club and none of our people are perfect, but a bit of balance would be appreciated - praise when due, critisism when due I could deal with but when its negative 24/7 it gets a bit predictable and boring.

On the flip side - Chris Kamara and the other guy from sky sports (he was the second commentator during the west hame league game we just won) are very fair to us - exaclty what I was saying above, they give praise when due and critisise when necessary, I think the other commentators name was alan someoneorother?

Goals on sunday (obviously featuring chris) is imo the only footie programme worth watching (that one with the blokes from the rags - sunday supplememnt? Is AWFUL!)

Just because I'm still logged on and I feel like responding to the people who have said this has no foundation in truth, please allow to me illuminate you further.

For your information only - and Tatts will no doubt confirm this as fact - the reason why Jordan Mutch is at Birmingham City at all is because Terry brought him over with him from Derby County.

And to all those people who say the two aren't linked. Jordan actually stayed with Terry for a year or so in digs.

So, who do you think he may be persuaded to listen to?

Yes, that's right. The person who has looked after his best interests since he was a teenager and helped him become a professional.

So, it therefore follows that if Terry has left under a cloud - and I'd rather not go into those details because I'll be here all day - then he may influence Jordan's decision to stay or go.

I'm not saying he will because at the moment, my sources tell me the deal isn't a million miles off being sorted.

So that's where we are. So it's not been dreamt up, the two are related and it could, although it may not, happen.

Which is exactly what I wrote in the first place.

Everybody clear?

Fantastic.

So you reported on something which, could possibly happen due to the obvious past between the two, yet with absolutely zero evidence...of course.

Why don't you write a report on how Blues 'might' win the cup final 2-1, at least the bookies could give you and estimation on how likely that were to occur.

In my opinion that small article on Mutch was no more than making an issue out of something which most probably isn't an issue at all, but that's what most journalism is these days isn't it. Must have been a slow news day.

I have had a good read of this thread and firstly anyone who thinks there is an anti blues theme in the press local or national is paranoid full stop, there just isnt.
Secondly N.M couldnt have explained his position more clearly and lucidly. Chers Neil.
Thirdly If I was Seb I would be furious with the club, they have thrown big money @ Hleb and Zig but wont bring him up to something akin to Fergie/Bowyer wage level. To me that seems odd indeed.

how do i know what as a fact?
Seb`s agent per johnson put all the figures in the public domain, he said Sen want 60% of Zigs or %0% of Hlebs and parity with the other experienced midfielders.
It seems extraordinarily reticent of the club not to agree to these type of figures when you consider what an important part of our squad he is.
Certainly Bentley will be on mopre.

Sorry this was what I was on about.

Where in the public domain does it say how much Ferguson and Bowyer is on? All I've heard is Zigic is top earner at about £50,000 a week, don't know what Hleb is on but I presume it is high, before that I'm lead to believe the top earner before that was McFadden on £25,000. I hear they are offering Larsson £24,000? All of this is what I have heard. Problem is all your info all seems to be loose but 'factual' and I see no fact. If you are correct then fair enough, I have seen no details from his agent as to what players earn what compared to what Larsson has been offered.

As another poster observes, Neil Moxley does not write the headlines which top
his reports. Thus, he did not himself write that Larsson was "furious".

It was dreamt up by a London sub-editor who has one simple purpose:
to get readers reading the content.

Clearly, they did.

In the body of the report, NM quotes Seb as being "disappointed". Now, in
football parlance, that may well be code for "I'm b****dy furious."

Just as, when Eck says he was "disappointed" by the team's first half efforts, he too was probably b****dy furious."

Readers who get past the headlines, and I'm not justifying the more lurid ones, often find the content - the copy - is a more sober account of what's going on.

And, in any event, Neil Moxley does not, as a reporter of Midlands football, owe Birmingham, Villa, Wolves, Albion or any other club an uncritical loyalty. Carson Yeung does not pay his salary. And just as well.

I have it on good authority that supporting Blues can cause cancer. Maybe Mr Moxley could shed some light on this?

Seriously though, fair play to him for coming on and fighting his corner, even if he does sound like he's protesting a little too much.
