Central News said they've "survived for another day" but it could only be a brief reprieve more or less.

Firstly, theres a thread on the wembley forum about going to Kiddie on the Sat before the final, I have spoken to Kiddie and they welcome us. I will be going and so far there will be about 6. Anyone from Bromsgrove that fancies it but don't have transport I have 3 spaces in my car. Going to the King and Castle for a prematch pint.

secondly

Kiddie Statement

Quote:

The Board of Kidderminster Harriers Football Club is delighted to announce that there have been new developments at the Club.

A band of principled supporters have donated a substantial amount of money which has given the Club a reprieve from entering into the legal and financial process in the short term.

Furthermore, discussions are taking place with potential new investors. All parties have agreed to a strict confidentiality agreement whilst a short period of due diligence takes place.

It's a shame there aren't any famous Kiddie Harriers fans to donate some cash... the only one I can think of is Rachel who used to be on the Chris Moyles show ages ago!
Might try and get down there next time I'm home to show a bit of support, providing it doesn't clash with a Blues game of course.

I live in Rubery and might be able to go to this game, depending on whether my dad wants to go to Wembley on the Saturday or not, will keep you informed.

Maybe some of us should get together and buy kiddy? :P I mean we could encourage brum to become its parent club and we could all get it off its feet and become part of the clubs history etc :P

It's been done before hasn't it where the fans own the club, I'm always curious as to how it would be run, I would imagine a set of directors are in place to make the overal running of the club but can you imagine trying to contact 100,000 plus people on deadline day to see if it was ok to buy a player or not....

Lmao didn't Real Madrid begin like that? Not sure if they still are...

As for signing players you could just put a petition up, send it out to all shareowners, if it surpasses a set amount then the club can't sign the player? lol

Real Madrid have a president I believe, that a set of people elect.

They're also bank-rolled by the Spanish Government. When Real were in financial trouble the Government bought their training ground off of them and then leased it to them for free (disgusting IMO).

Aren't St.Pauli owned by their fans?

And I'm sure there's another small English club like that (not including/forgetting AFC Wimbledon and FC United of Manchester).

Maybe a few of us could knock a few hundred pounds together and buy the Vile? We could turn the Holte End into a decent chip shop and turn the rest of the area into a land fill site- if there's any room left for yet more rubbish, that is.

Lets buy kiddie - approach blues get some of the reserve/youth team on loan

We could ask the horse to be the boss with Tait as his number 2

Blues season ticket holders get a kidderminster season ticket for half price in a buy 1 get 1 half price kind of deal (i know this will cause problems when both teams are at home at the same time, but we can work on that)
