for people who say there should have been a better way...there is always the phone and the internet (most people who dont have a pc or internet access know someone who does)

They'll probably work out an approximate number that could be served before they close and tell people beyond that in the queue that they would be best to come back tomorrow - or order online/phone. But, if most people were in the queue yesterday then today's queue will most likely be really short anyway.

Yeah Mo that makes sense. I was thinking more about next Sunday though when it comes down to 2 stubs. There are going to be a lot of people in that catagory I think as I think there will be alot people, non ST holders who would have only gone to the Villa and West Ham games.

My brother tried to book online yesteday, but they hadn't got the tickets we wanted. Then phoned ticket master, didn't have the tickets, so went to the ground at about 7.30am and called me at 11.45 to say job done.

Ok, its been a bit of a ball ache (for him ) , but who will care in two weeks time!!!

Waited a couple of hours this morning. By the time I was served at noon there was only about 45 mins of queue behind me.

I got there at 12:30 - had to wait behind 1 bloke (who actually pushed in).

Purchased 19 Tickets in Block 530 - left at 12:40.

Whats all the fuss about ?

Simples !

I cant believe people missed a game stuck in a queue.

I wonder what the queues are like today? Next Sunday is going to be a big one too, with the ticket office only opening 10-4 that's potentially a hell of a lot of people to serve in 6 hours.

I wonder what will happen once it hits four O'Clock if there are people left queuing? Will they keep open unil the queue is gone but not let anyone else join or will it be a case of sorry its 4:00pm were closed, even though you have been stood in the queue for 6 hours and are next in line you're going to have to come back tomorrow with the 1 stub people.. who themselves will probably queue overnight.

some mates went down today, 20 minute wait.

Got to the queue at 7:15 on Saturday, Picked my ticket up at 16:40... Was allowed into the ground in the Railway to catch the last 5 Mins. Saw Zigic score the winner at roughly 16:55 :)

I know people will comment i could have bought them online or gone down another day blah blah blah but I live in Redditch, and my friend who im going to Wembley with lives in Leicestershire. We both work full time so we couldnt have got down there again other than the day we were going to be there anyway for the game. Im sure there were other people in this position so dont give them such a bashing about queueing all day!!

Anyway the day queuing was a bit of a nightmare but had some great banter with the people around us, and by the sound of things didnt miss much in the 85 mins I missed.

Well alright, it was dark, and it was flippin' early :)

I'm just so glad I've got my ticket and one for my Dad, he's 72, and we're both fired up for this one.
