i am so glad something makes you smile, because like they said on sky yesterday about being at st andrews, you couldnt watch that every week. least number of goals scored on a premiership ground this season, yes you have guessed correctly its entertaining st andrews.
believe me i am very happy with my footy.
and it said it all for me yeaterday when blues scored a good winner, there were more outside the ground than inside.
KRO, see you at wembley.

come on mate you cant really mean that? I dont think anyone wants to boing (see what did there) up and down between leagues?

What would Bommer, Astle, Regis make of that? If fulham can make it into europe (and get to the final) so can wba or bcfc. A couple of prem seasons, bit of stability, who knows...

mate believe me, its better in the championship. the premiership dont want us, your not welcome anywhere, its not friendly when you go to away games and we keep getting beat.
championship, everyone respects you, you are a big club, you still get full home crowds cause you are top, you score goals for fun and have 3 months to part at the end of the season.
the only other answer is for the top 6 in the prem to join a european league and then we could have a more even premier league.
there is no fun in aiming to finish 15th or 16th every season, and what ever league you are in you can still get to league cup finals and have goos fa cup runs.
all in all i guess i am just fed up of paying £40-00 to see my team outplayed every week.

you havent been outplayed every game though - and like I said, if Fulham can do it so can us and you - we were not too far away last season - surley the thought of havign a decent game and winning 1 - 0 against europes finest is better than beating scunthorpe (all respect due to scunny) 4 - 0 with your eyes closed?

but you don't get outplayed every week. you just need to learn to defend.

blues and albion are polar opposites. we can defend but don't score while you do score but can't defend.

unfortunately for teams like you, wolves and blackpool, teams like that usually go down while blues scrape enough points to stay up. now we look like we've got some attacking options i wouldn't be suprised to see us finish in the top half.

Albion would be a secure mid table team if they learnt to defend set pieces properly and knew how to shut teams out like blues do.

and don't start talking rubbish about it being better in the championship, thats just what teams in the championship say until they get promoted.

ringo and pooley, i hear what you are saying, but we all go to watch our team entertain us and win goals and score games, and thats what albion do best in the championship, believe me its awful the day you get relegated but then when the new season starts and you win 4-0 or 5-0 and are top of the league fo almost the entire season its great. i know it lacks ambition but all you care about is winning. we have had it for 4 or 5 years now where we know we are not good enough. if the chairman had any ambition at all he would have spent a few million on a couple of central defenders who are easier to get than strikers, but he didnt spend a penny, he took an attacking midfielder from arsenal, thats the last thing we need, we have very good attacking midfielders in brunt and dorrans. i think the chairman is happy being a yo yo club. it means the ground is almost full every season, this year cause its local derbies and man utd and chelsea etc and next year cause you are top, score goals and get promotion.
i would love us to finish 7th 88th or 9th in the prem but under our chairman its not going to happen, so i enjoy life in the cheaper championship.
KRO, maulley.

fair enough.

i know i'd rather be fighting for survival in the premier league then winning the championship.

at the end of the day winning the championship/league 1/league 2 doesn't actally mean anything. if you asked a fan what would you rather do, win the championship but not get promoted or finish 2nd and go up, 99.9% would want to get promoted. it's the promotion that matters, not the trophy. Does anyone remember who's won the championship for the last 10 years without looking at wikipedia? i don't.

the premier league is where every club wants to be. is there a club in the land that doesn't have dreams of being in the premier league?

WBA can take the easy and cheap option of settling for being a yo-yo club. but blues have got some ambition. yes it will take a few years of struggle at the lower ends of the league, but once we are established then we can push on and aim for europe.

agree about blues 100% because blues appear to have ambition, from the board right down to the fans, sometimes maybe the expectation is a little high, but there is no harm in that. and just to prove that point,
blues at wembley in the league cup final with a good chance of winning it.
albion go to ipswich and put in an under strength side, when they should have gone all out to win and they could have been at wembley. lack of ambition. if you are serious about winning the league cup play your strongest side.

Thing is, Mauley, we were boring in the Championship too. I think I'd plumb for the higher form of boredom in the Premiership, though.

It's still mind numbing to see why , if you consider the last 6 or 7 games in both League and Cup, people refer to us as boring .....especially as we've added Bentley and Martins to the line up , two players who love to entertain

They must watch a different game to me :banghead:

The Baggies defending and 2nd half collapse against West Ham must have been a huge concern for the watching Roy Hodgson

But if anyone can save the Baggies from the drop, he is the bloke to do it

He miraculousy kept Fulham up in 2008......It won't be at our expense this time though

Wolves, Wigan and Blackpool look the likeliest

its amazing, one league cup final and you are all coming out the woodwork now, complaing how will i get a ticket, i have no stubs, what can i do like the other 50,000 i never miss a game, well thats not what the average attendance says, so dont take the mick out of the baggies when half of you dont even know wembley is in london.
and wether we are in the premier or the conference we will still follow them, as i said, see you at wembley. follow me if you are not sure of the way. :LMAO: :LMAO:

mate please believe me its only banter, i am as pleased for blues as i am as dissapointed for the baggies. looking at our run in after the wolves game its hard to see where the points will come from to stay up.as i said the club lacks ambition and west ham was the final straw for me. i am going to wembley really and i hope blues dont let me down.
i have some good "mates" on this site and they know its only banter.
if blues win the league cup and stay up that will be a fantastic result but even with blues now i think after a couple of seasons in the prem its time to kick on if they are to be taken seriously by some of the "bigger teams".
KRO, maulley.
