The agent of Seb Larsson has recently made reference to our club?

In making such statements that went to the press not only has he become a hated figure at our beloved club, but has also put his clients abilility and favour with the people of Birmingham as a player in jeopardy.

As an outsider this agent who makes money regarding BCFC/his client, slates our club to the uk press, yet means nothing to to the club, or our supporters.

Yet he attacks BCFC because they have decided to keep a contracted employee.

Mr Larsson has much support in Birmingham as a footballer, but this has dwindled thanks to Jonsson's remarks.

Larsson has pulled back some fans recently due to his performances.

I as a fan I hope Sebastien stays at Birmingham, the club have helped him evolve into a premier player and a full international.

As supporters we should watch with interest the actions from the Jonsson camp and how remarks, headlines in the press may evolve?

:)

Larsson would do well to sack his agent as it doesnt appear he's giving the best advice or doing a great job...

Well to be honest the agent on this occasion may be understandably frustrated.

Larson was willing to stay to the end of the season an offer came in and Blues allowed negotiations to go quite far only to have a change of heart.

Now this is Blues perogative but the agent would have got involved and tried to get the best deal he can with the next club only for Blues to pull out.

We complained about Nzogbia changing his mind when it came to siging on the dotted line.

No one likes to be messed about at the last moment so I feel a little bit for the agent on this one.

I can understand the frustration so long as they also appreciate that it was a tough decision. Ideally he would have been allowed to leave and Blues would have got some readies but premier league survival was placed as the highest priority and Seb's continued contribution and professionalism is much appreciated.

Talk about looking for a scapgoat stansolo!

How dare you continue to suggest that Per Jonsson has "put his clients abilility and favour with the people of Birmingham as a player in jeopardy"......? :o

Seb and his agent had agreed contract terms with Blues only for Pannu to make an alternative lower wage offer two months later. Then Steve Bruce made an absurd statement that he would only acquire Seb Larsson for what we paid for him five years ago i.e. £1Mil. This sparked an interest in the neighbouring skint promotion club Newcastle who offered £1.5Mil for the Swede international. Then Pannu up to his tricks again in a pathetic attempt to force the issue with Larsson accepted the offer, because he knew the Magpies wouldn't pay the wages formerly agreed at St. Andrews. After Blackburn looking for an opportunity of a bargin got involved by accepting his wage with an absurd tranfer bid, Big Eck finally had to step in with a demand for him to stay at least till the end of the season because of our Carling Cup success.

Just because we now know Seb's true innocent position from the player's own mouth on this outrageous contracts fiasco, that doesn't excuse the underhand exploits and fickle machinations of Peter Pannu and for the professional standing of his client, Per Jonsson as the Swede international's agent was quite right to expose what has more than evidently been the appalling treatment that Seb Larsson has received at the hands of the 'ChinaBlue' board IMO!

Seb has been in the club for soon 5 years on the same contract. surely there must be some blame on the different people running the club for not sorting it out for such a long time.

The club dont loose alot as we did not pay that much. Finding a replacement is going to cost alot and thats where the main loss is.

Seb is going to cash in and who really blames him. If continues playing like in the two last games many clubs will stand in line.....

We will have to agree to disagree engleman.

I speak as a 49 yr old bloke who has watched football over 4 decades at St Andrews, being a child resident in Tilton Rd in the 60's and a resident of Fosbrooke Rd - BOTH SMALL HEATH, I refer to the clubs priority regarding its employees and working within the employment rules.

The club can any make decisions regarding any CONTRACTED PLAYERS as long as it is in UK employment rule.

This may mean looking after the interests of a talented and trusted employee who could take the company forward and may even be worth a pay rise?.

The club does not have to worry about any agents and what money any agent can make regarding there client and any new contract agreements.

My complaint is that this agent - who has NO affinity or interest on how successful the Birmingham City Football Club is decides to down out club complaining via press releases ?

I find these type of comments negative and upsetting to the Blue side of Birmingham.

I have to say I respect Mr Larsson as a player and hope he will stay, but let me assure you there have been far better players in our history and even now" better players in the squad" that have graced our ground!

I'm afraid this sort of stuff goes on at all clubs with agents trying to crank up their clients wages (and obviously their own cut) and clubs doing whatever they can to try to minimise outgoings.

I absolutely loathe agents and wish most of them a long painful death but unfortunately they now occupy prominent positions and are as much part of the footballing landscape as Emile Heskey missing a sitter from two yards.

Let's face it Pannu and Yeung are not here to do passable impressions of Father Christmas and neither should we expect it of them. In the normal scheme of things at some point they will both head off into the sunset clutching a fistful of dollars and we fans can only hope they have left one or two trophies behind.
