Thats ridiculous, i really believe we will have atleast 2,000 left on general sale . cause therer were only 5,900 bluenoses at rochdale, 8,000 at mk dons and 12,000 at Brentford . Then youve gotta think about how many of those would have been ST holders ? meaning they wont need to go on the stub days

the only problem is how many people who work for the club will have tickets? then there is players tickets how many do they get? then box holders? etc... i cant see it going to general sale tbh

Stubs are only useful if you either got them on the gate or have a client ref no against them.

Stubs are NO use at all if they belong to someone who's already got a ticket!!! Every time you book a ticket your client reference is added to that row & seat. Once that reference is used the tickets are scrap, so someone's just paid £73 for 2 pieces of paper!

yeah but if that client ref number had more than one ticket then its okay surley .... yu telling me that if yu went to say two of the games , but a mate got your ticket under his name when he broguht his , that you cant use YOUR stub just because HE brought the tickets ?

Just be careful though. I have a stub from the West Ham game, which I bought using my season ticket, but it doesn't have STH anywhere on it. Yes it has the same client ref so I'm not going to be able to use it, but this also means that just because a stub being sold on ebay doesn't have STH written on it doesn't mean it doesn't belong to a season ticket holder and you will probably find the client ref has been blocked.

It does just show though how much people will pay for a ticket. 10 years ago when we got to the league cup final at Cardiff I was offered £80 just for my semi final stub by someone I worked with on behalf of a tout.

Now I am a ST holder but on both home & away games I bought them on general sale. I wasn't asked for any reference No upon purchace just my name & address. On the home stub I have it has my reference No on it even though I hadn't quoted it. The away ticket does not have my ref Number on it & was bought general sale anyway but again I had to quote my name & address... I'll email the club today & find out if u can use both, one or neither of them.

A mate of mine at work has just posted his facebook status that he has Carling Cup Tickets available and to inbox him if interested. His brother in law is a member of the first team squad. Glad to see the player's allocations being used for the right reasons eh..

I mean don't worry if not, I live in Swansea and have not been able to go to a cup game this season so was going to wait till the 22nd to try for a ticket which is a bummer. :(

But if it was classed as a stub would appreciate it. **thumbup

Exactly.

I'm a season ticket holder, I have 3 stubs, not one of them says STH. But they do have my reference number on them, which has now been used.

So far all of the ebay stubs have a reference number on them, and as already stated these could be STHs. If they are not from a season ticket holder, why would you sell them ???

See I couldn't bring myself to do that.

There is nothing to stop me listing my stubs as just stubs on ebay, no mentioning that they would guarantee you a ticket, I'm just selling my stubs.

They don't have STH on them. I just couldn't bring myself to fleece a genuine blues fan like that though.

Now if it was a tout then it would be a different matter.

I'm the same, as far as I'm concerned my stubs are now something to keep from a wonderful cup run.

Let's hope they can win the cup :)
