Apparently they are the top scoring side in the division outside the top 5, scoring 40 goals. Given that, and the fact we haven't beaten them at home since 1977, what formation do you think we should go for? I reckon McLeish might favour a 4-5-1, and flood the midfield to stop them from playing. |

I can see something similar to Saturday's starting lineup, with maybe Jerome for Martins, and possibly Bowyer for Gardner, but nothing drastic. Hopefully Hleb can make the bench. |

They are a passionate attacking side with a vocal support. Even without Carroll they are a threat, as Arsenal found out the other week. I wonder if Alex will feel 4-4-2 is enough to contain them, because Gardners' had a couple of off games recently. I wonder if he does do 4-4-2 whether he'll stick Bowyer in his place, with Gardner coming off the bench. Alternatively, a 4-4-1-1 with Hleb playing just off the striker (not sure which one though!) might be in his thoughts - I'm guessing. |
