No, it doesn't. The return leg isn't until Tuesday the 8th of March, a week later.

That game was awesome!

And it gives us a very good insight into the tictacs to play in the CCF... and I have it worked out.

Arsenal beat Barca......

Therefore, whatever we do, we should not play like Barcelona. Do you think we could manage it?

Thats how I used to teach younsters how to play football,
Everyone comfortable on the ball ,passing to team mates, give and go,
A delight to watch, and Barca are masters at it ,
And before people say Barca have the players to do it,you can teach it to anyone when they are young,
But in todays climate its not the done thing,
But at the moment 2 of the most successful teams in their respective countries do it week in week out,so it can work.??

Was a great game to watch ,but it did give an insight into how we can pull off the shock of the century and beat Arsenal at Wembley and the answer is play our normal game ,balls hoofed into big Zigic with the midfield picking up the knockdowns ,Arsenal love to play against teams that play it on the floor ,if we bombard there area with high balls i really think we could pull it off ,it won't be pretty but who cares as long as our name is engraved on the cup at the end **thumbup

At 19, how good was Jack Wilshere last night? I thought he was the best player on the pitch and considering who that included, amazing.

Wilshere was head and shoulders above the likes of Xavi, Iniesta and co.. and that shows just how good the lad is, and will continue to be for years to come.

To be fair all acadamys with young kids teach them to try and play like barca do, they never tell them to boot it out of play but try and play or pass it out of trouble.

Some do Bobby,some dont,
But it gets lost along the way, when they reach 15 or 16 the empahsis changes to what we see week in week out from most teams, brawn before brains.

Ithink English football has come on leaps and bounds from the 70s 80s and 90s teams Arsenal can play a style of football that is as good as any european team, it also helps that we can attract the best players in the world to the prem were players like wiltshire can learn from.

If English football has come on leaps and bounds since the seventies how come we send on a Vile reserve to rescue the situation when we're 4-1 down in a rather important World Cup match? Certainly the standard of the Premiership is higher than it's ever been but we have Johnny Foreigner to thank for that, Bob.

As for Wilshere the nicest thing you could say about him is he wouldn't have looked out of place in a Barca shirt. If this kid maintains his rate of progress in my view he will become a better player than Fabregas. If only there were a few more English kids like him!
