Was going to make this my little lad's first game, priced it up and found for me, the missus, and our four year old son would be sixty pounds before we've left the house. I cant pay that with Wembley around the corner next weekend.

Not everyone can mate and a few of my mates have had to give it a miss. I was just making the point that final or no final struggling to get less than 10,000 blues fans for an fa cup 5th round at £15 for season ticket holders and £20 for non is embarassing either way you look at it. If we win and get through to the semis and people have to cuz for 24 hours for a one stub day they will be thinking maybe they should of paid the £20 ;)

The recession is really kicking in. There are loads of Blues fans (even Villa fans & the rest) are losing jobs as the weeks go by and the cost of living is getting higher. Its about time the football clubs & governing bodies get a reality check.

The solution is obvious:

Reduced Ticket prices + lower player wages = HIGHER GATES

at the moment its this

High ticket prices + High (Astronomical) player wages = LOW GATES

You have to look at the League Cup final's prices with travelling costs on top being the reason I can't go to Wembley even this is dwarfed by the outrageous double prices for the Champions League final.

Sad to say unless the football industry get a grip on reality, no kid or family is ever going to attend a game at these prices. I remember in 1971 aged 7 I attended almost every other game 'cos it was affordable then.

This is supposed to be the people's game not a multi million pound business.

:(

Well he's correct.

Their fans would turn out for this game and not find excuses if it was being played there.

I think a five year old could draw a graph showing the correlation between success and fans' support... The more the success, the worse the fans get, simple.

Then we slag of the fans that come but then leave early..

now we slag of the fans that come but didnt pay for there ticket in advance, but only paid on the day.

When we have not even sold out of half a block in the ground it does not take a rocket scientist. Nothing about being calm, each to their own and im not here slagging people off for not going but just pointing out that when villa fans rip us after, me just the same as you will be embarassed

I couldn't care less what a villa fans says.

And it still stands... come on after we have 8000, not before with your 'estimate' 8000.

I think £20 is a bit pricey with all the home games been played around the same time and a pricey trip to wembley coming up. Blues should say £10 or make one poorer area of the ground i.e paddocks cheaper. Kids for a quid?

There is enough negativity on here about stuff that has happened without starting threads about things YOU thing is going to happen.... thats my point

Whether ive got a whole executive box full of people....
or a sad seat on my own with restricted view....
or im mowing my back lawn saturday

is...

firstly irrelevant,

secondly nothing to do with you,

and....

thirdly you'll never know. **thumbup

Managed to get 2 more for my mates on row 38 of block 7 and not one block in the ground even looks close to selling out. If we win then we are only one game away from wembley again and the chaos begins again & having stubs will be priceless.
Were all getting stick off the other halves for going away the next weekend but surely at them prices you can be excused. Our board cant do more other than drive us to the game themselves.

What seats if you mind me asking? Cause my season tickets there..
