OK boys and girls, who's going which way? Was thinking M40. Haven't been to Wembley for ages and was wondering the best way especially for exit after the game. |

I drive a lot for work averaging over 40,000 miles a year and I ALWAYS use the M40 when going to London. Even if I were to be working in East London or Essex I would rather use the M40 then travel around the M25 than use the M1, maybe when the road works are complete it will be better. Travelling to Wembley M40, A40. Sorted **thumbup |

M40 Fan here! I've been travelling to London every week for over ten years and always use the M40, its almost always free flowing and never, touch wood! any police or cameras (but obviously still be aware for police if your going to floor it ;) I can do it in 55 mins (get to M25) if I don't stop at any services, I love it! |

For England matches on an evening I have always parked on Belmont Road (by Mead Rd) in Uxbridge and walked down to the tube station. Looking at 'street view' on google maps the on street parking there is only charged Monday to Saturday. |

This is a debate every time I come to the game. I have come to hate the M1 with a passion. I like the M40 a lot more as the scenery is a bit more pleasing on the eye than the M1. However coming from Essex to games I do like to use the M11/A14/M6/M42/A45 route as you're doing a bit more. For personal reasons I always use the M25/A41/M40/M42 as I get to drive through Aylesbury where I used to live and wish I still did live. |

so do you think most people travelling by car will be going on the M40 then? I would prefer to be on the Motorway with the majority of Blues fans as it will feel a lot better going past all the blues fans with the banter etc. It's the M40 then yes? |
