Why can't they keep it open? Pay somebody double time for Christs' sake, ridiculous.

Are you being Ironic with this statement.

Yes Sunday trading laws are 'for christ's sake' Well spotted.

:D

I cannot see why people are moaning about the queue being smaller at the Garrison lane Ticket office. It has been advertised with the dates each allocation went on sale on the website that both offices where open. More fool the people that rocked up at 3am for not checking the other office queue before joining.

I got my tickets yesterday, 35 minutes I waited in the Queue compared to the 4 hours plus reported from the Kop office??

There is no big conspiracy & the Garrison Ticket office didn't have a queue for 2001 Worthington Final or the Play off Final??? It is not a new fangled concept, it is simple ignorance of the masses to see a queue & join it. lol

The queue by 11am at the Garrison was none existant, so much so, we took or 7 tickets back (which had been bought in 3 batches to exchange them for 7 together) Rocked upto the counter in 10 mins & away!!

Not sure what is supposed to be unfair here?? The club told everyone both offices are open the same, both selling all areas of the stadium, It has always been used for selling finals tickets in the past & has alway had much shorter queues! Always people on here looking for a whinge about summat eh!!!

Anyway!! Wem ber ley, Wem ber ley & I'm not p*ssed up as I am the deisgnated driver and we're going to Wem Ber ley, Wem Ber ley etc & so on.......

Where was it advertised that the garrison lane office ewould be open?

I spoke to the ticket office Friday and they did not know if it would be open and the stewards did not know this morning. They also told me that the car park would be open but it wasnt. Organisation and communication is still not good enough to me.

When details of the original ticket details came out explaining what days for ST holders/stub holders etc... It said both offices will be open. Under that assumption & the fact that every final I have every been to has had Both ticket office open then, I guess I correctly figured along with hundreds of other people it would be open for this final. If people felt it better to take the standing in the cold from midnight route & wait 10 hours rather than take the word of minimum wage ticket office staff or stewards, rather than er.... take a stroll around the other side of the ground to see what's what then more fool them.

Mind you it is a really long walk, at least 5 minutes. . . . . . . .

Shall be around there for the Semi Final tickets too god willing.

Don't ever remember seeing anything about both offices being open and the staff at blues certainly don't appear to know about it.

I take the word of nobody down the blues as they do not communicate between themselves let alone their customers. That's why I got there early kipped down for the night and I was away before 11 with my tickets.

Fair play if people were lucky and got in quick at garrison lane it didn't affect me but I think it would be fairer with 1 queue.

We got there at around 8.30ish this morning and we started round by the George and the queue only moved once all the way round to the club shop (to let the fans filter round inside). By half 10 there was'nt many behind us so I took a walk to Garrison Lane and was served by 1 pm.

I do feel for those who were stitched up a bit by this and I hope that all those who queued today got a ticket.

I'm gonna feel so sorry for the person who steps up at the front of the queue as soon as they announce they are sold out. I think we should have a minute silence for that person/s. **thumbup

yeah we will be gutted but considering its been open every day Wembley tickets have been on sale and people even on this forum have got there tickets from here its a risk im willing to take tbh. Rumor being going round that blues havent made it clear the garrison is open because last final people queued here and caused disruption infront of the resedential homes next to the ground and the old bill came.

I dropped another nose down there at 1am it was half way down tilton rd, but the queue looks fairly stretched out with sleeping bags and deck chairs, I asked the back of the queue why they didnt try garrison, they said they wanted to be on the safe side at the Kop Refugee Centre lol, you will all get your tickets people, see you at wembley :blues:
