i really appreciate what you guys are saying, but remember i see them quite often, and when you analyse the team there are only a couple of players of premiership quality.
i think brunt, maybe morrison and maybe thomas, but morrison and thomas are inconsistent. i suppose at a push mulumbu, but thats it.
even odemwhingie misses 4 chances for each one he scores.how do you expect to survive with only 4 decent players.
also agree if they can avoid relegation they can rebuild but the chairman expects to get about 5 premiership class players for a total of about 6 million. he lives in another world, its not worth the struggle.
we had a couple of great wins at arsenal and everton but we just caught them on their bad day, we could play them twenty times and get a point.
then we lost at home to stoke.
wigan, west ham and wolves at home = 3 points if you cant beat them you are not premiership class.

So what are you saying Maulley?

Previous managers bought rubbish?

Your board didn't stump up for better players?

The previous manager couldn't cope ?

Hodgson is a good manager maulley, whether he has the depth of quality for a prem side is a different matter, as is the time he has left.

If the baggs go down, and they retain Hodgson, the boing will be gone I think. He is a slow builder and as we have seen in the Championship, you need to get up and running fast. Sunderland wolves etc And what does the Roy know of kick and scratch in the Championship?

It surprised me that AM gathered his wits quickly and learnt quickly when we went down.
If you don't, I think your parachute money will be long spent before you return - if you ever do.So Hodgson needs to keep you up.

You do need to stay up, and your board needs to have an alternative stategy to parachute money and boing-boing.. Like long term investment. Long term goals.

Instead of being invited to someone else's party every few years, why don't you or your board have ambition ?

Stay up and budget on trust, not budget on parachute moeny.

No ambition really is there? No hope? Just a lackadaisical support that assumes you'll come back up automatically. Boing Boing may be broke maulley.

I hope it isn't because I like the baggies and want them in the Prem. More than Stoke, Villa and wolves

i have had ambition for 46 years now at the hawthorns, i have spent thousands following them and i have seen them win the fa cup once and the league cup once, thats not good enough for 46 years. they have only ever won the league once in their130 odd year history, so you kind of get used to lack of ambition. i just go along now and enjoy the games when i can and accept they will never be a big club in my lifetime. but heyho i will support them for ever.
